I think Mclaren would've gotten away with a coded message to Lewis I think, "you have a problem, Jenson is coming up behind", just curious as to whether they decided to give one or not.

Why woud Lewis need to be told he had a problem? He was well aware he was missing 3rd... He was a sitting duck even if he tried to put up a fight it wouldn't have gotten him anywhere especially exiting the corners without 3rd Jenson would have breezed past him!

I was only giving an example bud, not suggesting that was what was literally said, unless you disagree what Mclaren would have been able to code a message?
What, he said that efflinitty? In that case I suppose he was already asking if he needed to let Jenson through (ie initiated by Lewis rather than the team", thanks for clearing that up.

^^Did he try to put up a fight?Wow,i didnt realize that.
I remember Lewis asked 'Is Jenson faster than me?' thats a sign for team orders!!
Lewis doesn't need Jenson to back him up....when has Jenson been in a position to back him up!? Except to NOT overtake his stricken car in Suzuka.
Jenson was a joke today. At least I'm assured Mr Hold Station is unlikely to fluke-finish ahead of Lewis this year in the standings.

Nice way to avoid answering the question

He did answer the question, which part didn't you understand?
Ill repeat it for ya.
No, Mclaren don't need to back Lewis because Lewis can do it himself. Jenson couldn't back his own girl up right now let alone Lewis.
Lewis don't need no help from Button.
Their will be no excuses for the button fans this season, they have had equal treatment from start to finish.
