In real life most of us know F1 fans.So do i.But just a few, what a pity!I talk to my dad,a Red Bull fan he knows more than i do so i can learn something. Also,I also talk to my sister but she is a new fan so i tell her what i know. One of my friends also follow but i dont see him much and he misses most of races. My cousin follows f1 too but i dont see him so often which means we cant talk often

What about you?Who do you know are f1 followers and which team do they support?

Sadly I can only talk to myself, go figure :hehe: , as I no longer have any friends who follow F1 other than ones on the internet.

If I had people to talk to about F1; I wouldn't have joined this forum :hehe:

None of my friends have the slightest interest in motorsport; let alone F1, I know a couple of petrolheads but they don't follow motorsports!

Hmm, one friend has a interest, though that doesn't stop me shouting f1 stuff to my other friends,

my dad's semi interested, though most of that revolves around jokes about Schumacher's antics etc, ie today he humoursly mentioned Rubens complaining Schumacher blocked him. Oh and he likes Eddie Jordan's various pearls of wisdom to.

Probably you lot mainly though.

My best mate is equally as mad about cars and F1 as i am, which is useful. Many an hour has been wasted talking crap down at the pub... My Dad is an old school fan really but we talk about it whenever we meet up. My girlfriend watches some races too. Then there's all the guys at uni, but given the course that's to be expected. And of course you lot! :hehe:

I talk to myself about things not limited to F1. I answer myself in an accent just to remain entertained. I hope there's nothing psychologically wrong with that, although I do get terse when I disagree with myself.

Common thread (pun intended) seems to be that North Americans have no-one to talk to about F1 other than on the internet - and I include myself there. I occasionally mention F1 to friends and colleagues but the response is that normally reserved for retarded cousins - a slightly amused, accommodating tolerance and the blank look with the unspoken "Never mind, I'm sure he'll grow out of it."

North America is verily a Formula 1 wilderness, saving Montreal, maybe. Maybe Austin will pique some interest in the States but there's no hope for Western Canada (who are not sure that Montreal is part of Canada, anyway).
