Imagine the crying from Rubens if he was driving 20+yrs ago! Seems he has a vendetta with Shumi for the years he was asked to move over for the FASTER driver.

Seems everything is an excuse for being slower :-)

I reckon for the next new track (India) the FIA should send someone to find out all the problems from crashes and bad run offs (so we can avoid the niggling problems we have now eg pit lane entry etc). I have the ideal driver in mind. Excellent at finding ways to get off track and hit anything else on track that you shouldn't hit. But, so I don't cause angst I will just call him driver "X" .........................
or perhaps I should call him driver "LH"

I quite like this track, perhaps Tilke and the FIA have responded to the fans reaction to some of the other new tracks, and are now focusing a bit more on producing interesting racing.

Also, did Redbull steal quali from Alonso through doing two laps in the final run of q3 whilst Alonso just did the one? Or did they just always have the inherent pace to take a 1-2 on the grid?

Despite all the little problems.. I am loving this track

The end of the 3rd sector where they sweep around the left-hander against the concrete wall and then do a sweet little dip onto the start/finish straight? Love, love, love it!

Ahem, not to be too over-enthusiastic or anything 8-)

Spankyham, any chance you could refrain from double- and triple-posting? Your posts are annoying and sneering enough without having to read several in a row...

If Rubens didn't make it into Q3 because of being blocked I could understand his anger; but both him and Schumacher made it through to Q3; Rubens needs to concentrate on his driving rather than concentrating on getting Schumacher back for all his years at Ferrari, his does seem to have a vendetta doesn't he? When Schumacher tried to put him in the wall; he had grounds to complain; that was over the line (literally) from Schumacher.

I don't think Alonso was fuelled for two flying laps so he did his lap when he was lightest, as did the Bulls. But was it inherent pace? The track was rubbering in lap by lap so maybe Alonso could have matched them. It will be interesting to see the relative pace tomorrow, particularly since it looks like rain will wash away all the grip which built up today. Maybe the support racers will be told to burn rubber as often as they can to replace as much of it as possible!

As long as they don't start to rip up the surface...

8am in Korea and it's apparently been raining all night. :):):):):):):):)

CARNAGE!!!:hehe:

Shrewd move by Button to stay away from the front. While the leaders squabble at the first corner, sliding all over the place and taking each other out, Button will sail serenely into the lead! :)

The last turn/pit entrance area looks hairy!

Yeah, thought so, too, thus brought this along:

That's the same bumper sticker I had on my car January 2009.
