The track can be crap, I don't care.

I just love that we are going to have a race in Korea. I like imagining Kim Jong-il watching.... it's suuuuuch a lovely mental image

Isn't he from the other Korea? Oh, I see. :hehe:

As much as we want an exciting, unpredictable race, is it annoying to anyone else that we are counting on a tyre performance lottery or weather to mix up races?

Yes.

Anyone else remember the 2 1/2-hour pause in this year's Daytona 500 because a chunk of the tarmac came loose? Their cars are much kinder to the circuit and, like it or not, them NASCAR boys know how to lay some asphalt.

I've got 50 quid on the safety car appearing over at SkyBet. Wish they also were making book on the race being delayed/interrupted over craters appearing in the asphalt.

There were two pauses

Daytona are now completely repaving the track for the first time since 1978  so those problems won't happen again :)

The crowds will be smaller than a Florida Marlins game I reckon

:doh::doh:

there won't even be enough for a :mexwave:

True, although there are some on tracks on the calendar that generally produce exciting races without those factors.

Red Bull for me in pure performance but they have had very bad technical reliability and ability to win from pole due to bad starts and what not. To be honest though, both of the championships are theirs to lose. Obviously the engine count will play a big factor in the coming races, drivers mentality and lots of other factors.

If Korea really is McLaren's track then they should really go for it. I'm sure Lewis and Jenson will be because they know that 4th and 5th places, not even 3rd or 2nd places are good enough anymore. It also depends if Mclaren's new front and rear wings will perform as well because their upgrades haven't performed as they have hoped this year with sometimes 2 races to actually benefit.

I just cannot believe McLaren have not won the constructors title in 12 years and have only been 2nd or 3rd at best.

This is the year of the Bull

Next year may be a completely different story

They have the 2 most progressive drivers (compared to there standings last year), and the most advanced cars on the grid right now (hands down)

Are you asking who we support or who the better team(car as well) is or who has better drivers?

Because RedBull has the best team but i think they are almost tied with drivers. Though i think McLaren has an edge.

Redbull Is a better team because Vettel & Webber keep on winning the races & the cars have more powerful engines .I say Mclaren have to push a bit hard because mclaren are not doing very well.

What kind of edge do they have?

It really is all in Red Bull's hands. McLaren need them to have some sort of error to stay have a shot at either championship. A combination of poor reliability from RBR and good performances from McLaren are the only thing that kept them in the running for so long with a noticeably slower car.

I don't think you could logically not give the upper hand to Red Bull at this point
