From one of your most recent post I gather you have been dealing with corruption to an extent your whole life. Thus it is clouding your belief that there are still people in this world who strictly adhere to their personal moral's and self respect, belive me when I say "We still exist"!

With that being said I will now move on and hope you have not taken any of what I have said as a personal attack, it's just my observation and God know's I'm wrong quite often .

There are many people in positions of power who do not abuse either power or position. Particularly people responsible for the welfare of others. Can you imagine a society that lived by those stamdards you describe? If you cant look to Germany in the war years or some African countries today.

Nah, I'm just thinking of a book I've read recently which talks about power and morality in Europe during the height of the British Empire. A chap by the name of Lord Acton who did quite a lot of historical research on the effects of Power on men through the ages.

It got me thinking of how comparable his words were to the situation we have today in F1. One of Acton's most famous quotes is "Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men."

My Father is quite proud of his heritage. I was simply making a joke about him being half jewish and half pallestinian.

Dont believe everything you read but I do agree that power corrupt's alot of people. It just seemed to me that you were throwing everyone here into the pool of who could be corrupted.

Perhaps we should hold a "Forum Referendum" and fax the results to the FIA.

Moderators could compile email addresses for the purpose.

Something trully need's to be done and I like your idea. Seeing as there are quite a few member's here who are much more 'well-versed' than your's trully, should we elect or ask who would be willing to write-up a formal 'grievance petition' for the FIA? Just an idea what does everyone think?

I think it would have to be concerned volunteer. Someone with a familiarity of the web mechanics involved and a willingness to devote just a little time and effort. It would be really interesting to see any response we might receive from "on high". I doubt it would be much more than:
"Mad Max thanks you for your concern and kind wishes but he is currently too busy to reply as he is busy fighting the pernicious tide of common sense that is threatening the imminent destruction of his personal vendetta against McLaren and the overall interests of the future of F1."
