here is my top 5 for the season overall ( no paticular order)

Hamilton
webber
button
kubica
rosberg

i feel theyve done a good job considering with renaults problems at the end of last year!!, plus with rosberg with the pressure of having schumacher as a team mate and not the fastest car on the grid!, plus lewis and jenson have out peform their equipment at times this year too!

Kubica is the 'apparent' best driver of the season. But Mark Webber is possibly winning the title... so he will be the actual best driver. If he does manage to win it, it will be through very good season-long performance and handling the pressure perfectly. Maybe not trough overwhelming consistency or any big super surprise... but he has had a couple of stand out performances.

About Fernando, Lewis, Jenson and Vettel... if any of 'em wins the title it will be miraculous, i think its a bit less likely than Webber winning. But it can happen.

Am I the only one getting annoyed at this, I'm a member of three forums and the same thread is in each, we are all aware he's a good driver stop with the self reassuring threads cause it makes you seem desperate fir kubica recognition, he'll get his moment in the spotlight soon enough, stop forcing your personal preference on everyone! He hasn't even proved himself against a top teammate yet, Christ almighty .... Brilliant driver, premature biased thread... Mainly cause I've seen it in too many forums created by jumped up fans seeking attention

You agree with this thread?

Not exactly. But i dont think its anyone trying to get some attention.

Anyway, credit where credit is due... Kubica has done a superb job, masked by the fact he has no rightful chance to fight for the title.

Maybe because you've seen it in 3 forums it annoys you more... but its no big deal. Consider it someone simply saying "Kubica is the best!"... right or wrong they'd be within their rights to say so...

Your helping my point with your post, credit is due massive Fanboyism is not how you can't see that this thread is just trying to shove Robert into the limelight I don't know... Best driver of the season, please these threads will come in thousands when Robert is in a wdc worthy car, it's just too early. He hasn't been flawless this season

Robert Kubica has done a solid job; comprehensively out raced his team mate; he's been unlucky with technical failures this season. Is he the best driver of the season; that's subjective at best; no driver has been flawless this season. Personally I would say that driver of the season is... Nico Rosberg, he has been consistently in the top six in a car that is somewhat off the pace, Webber and Vettel can be discounted because for much of the season they have had a far superior car, Hamilton has made too many mistakes to be considered the best; Button has be too slow; he has struggled with the McLaren unless under adverse conditions. Fernando Alonso has been all over the place this season, started well; then went to sh*t in mid season and coming back strong now; albeit with the full support of his team! An honourable mention must go to Kobayashi, 'nuff said!

Look at the title of the thread, the second part is not a question, it is a statement, this person is trying to impose an opinion (which toes the line thereabouts of their own) and put it on everyone else. It is subjective, like i said ive seen so many of these threads, always Kubica bottom kissing. Ive already said hes a brilliant driver, and that he is most likely going to be challenging for teh wdc in the next few years, but **** me sideways its beyond ajoke with all these "three world champions, vettel and webber dominance, but we all know kubica is best" Isnt this the guy that fluffed a bleeding pitstop to ruin his chances of a 2nd place finish at spa? Hamilton has not made too many mistakes to be considered, unless of course youve missed the first 3/4 of the season. Buttons speed isnt his strength, strategy and precision is, hes played too his strength amazingly, Fernando had a shaky start, but that was the car more then anything, and since then has driven IMMENSE drives, Vettel cant objectively be considered unless your mental/fanboy( too many rookie errors and did act a little spoilt), and Webber has faced so many new adversities this season and has so far laughed in the face of them all. Kubica has MORE then enough credibility to be considered, but these posts about him being it are so biased and nobody thinks anything of it cause Kubica hasnt/doesnt annoy anyone. Kobayashi (bar one race that is canada and possily singapore) has outperformed his car and teammate every race, if he hasnt, its cause he car has let him down, hes my driver of the season alongside Webber and Button (possibly Hamilton, most of his year has been outstanding, but the last few races his fault or not cant help but tarnish my opinion.)

I agree with you at most points.

For me best drivers of the season are:

-Rosberg:I read an interview of him in May(the interview was done after a race in March or April i cant remember the actual date)He said that he will try his best to go on top and he did.He also mentioned he will try to improve his car.I have seen him in top 7 so much, especially on 5th place,i have also seen him on 3rd place for several times. The previous seasons he had only been in the podium for once but this season it is for several times. That is a good improvent for him.

-Webber:His performances at races are really good.I also havent seen much mistakes made by him.Theres not much to explain hes one of the best actually the best of this year

-Kobayashi:He has been significantly better for last races.Actually he was the only one worth my sleep on last Sunday.

-Kubica:He has been very good at some tactics but he was unlucky at some parts.

Opinions of some others:

-Vettel:If speed would bring championship,he would be champion by a big difference. He has so much mistakes about strategy and being too agressive in driving. But i appraciated him about going to the pitstop in last lap several gps before.

-Hamilton:Has been making way too many mistakes.Needs a straight himself up(i mean starting a new page after his several mistakes idk how to mean that in English lol)

-Button:Is he afraid of speeding?He is S-L-O-W!He needs a straight himself up,too!!

I know what you mean. And yeah... i dont think anyone will be able to say anybody BUT the WDC will be the best driver this yr. Whomever ends up being... its going to be because of SOLID reasons.

Other than that... Kubica's little mistake at Spa was not that big deal considering the track was wet, and most everyone made some mistake. He still ended up way ahead of where anyone would have put a bet on him for...
but yeah in any case, right now, the BEST driver is all subjective and temporary.

Because if Lewis makes the climb... oh boy... massive jawdrop.

As for the threads coming in thousands... well, seems its starting: Kubica-maniaaaaaaa!

i think to say that lewis has made too many mistakes this year is like OMG!!!! WHAT ARE YOU ON ABOUT MAN???!!!:rofl: hes made 2 mistakes in italy and singapore thats it!! and leave jenson alone hes done very well going to a new team

come on lewis and jenson...do britain proud if not this year make next year a year to remember!

When lewis first came to F1 he said his competitor down the years would be Kubica...seems according to this thread he's right.
