Kobayashi was FANTASTIC!!!!! :clap::clap::clap:

I was looking forward to Lewis closing in on Alonso and beat him again on track, notch up another McLaren reliability issue to spoil it for me. :(

Forget the WDC Lewis...just make sure to finish ahead of Jenson, believe it or not he's only THREE points behind!!! Luck is powerful. :yikes:

Now that lewis is most likely out of the WDC, I'll be exclusively rooting for Jeson from now on...LOL...

Pray for another few gearbox issues for Lewis and you might be happy at the end of the season! :D

Great drive by Kobayashi.
Glad to see Alonso on podium again.
I'm no fan of Hamilton but I do feel bad for him.
Sorry for Kubica and Rosberg...what a shame.
And Massa, oh Massa, don't know what to say...

considering how many points has Lewis lost because of reliability problems, it's magical how he's still ahead.

I'm open to your arguments, if they're arguments and not just useless smiles that tell nothing

And Massa, oh Massa, don't know what to say...

Ya, piss poor. He should have been there to put Lewis down into 6th.

Well Webber is in a not so "fantastic" position anymore. Not that he was fantastically first placed to start off with.

But now he has 2 guys fourteen points behind him, not to mention his faster team mate who seems to want to prove a point. Right now I'm feeling Vettel will take out the championship. Good news is that Red Bull will not be challenged for WDC.

And that Bizarre thread about Massa winning WDC and Ferrari winning WCC was well and truly over after 1 corner. I wonder if Massa will have a job if he keeps it up?

And those were EPIC drives by Kobayashi and Schumacher....

I'm happy. Both the Red Bull drivers and Alonso got more points than both McLaren drivers, Red Bull also increased their lead in the Constructors Championship and Hamilton had more problems with his gearbox which means they may have to change it again which means another 5 position grid drop in the next race.

Great race by Koby, he got far more out of his car than any other driver on track!
Really felt for Felipe, he's in a hard place now, but I know he'll get through it - Forza Felipe
Really feel for Lewis, he put everything into to today race that he could, just had too much stacked against him
Super intelligent race from Fernando, 2nd best drive of the day behind koby for me. He had a car that was at best, at Susuka a distant 3rd best behind the Red Bull and McLaren yet he was able to drive it the whole race without the Bulls getting away from him - he has a clear path and plan to win the WDC and it is hard to bet against him.
Great strategy by Jenson to start on the primes, he probably let himself down by not getting a little more out of them and his lap times
Huge mistake by McLaren not changing Lewis's gearbox at Singapore and avoiding 5 place penalty for Lewis, it cost him a podium and his chances in the WDC.
Really sorry for Kubica - loose wheel nut? If it was someone's butt should be extra sore tonight
Pleasant surprise of the day - seeing a few glimmers of some old Shumy magic, and he kept his cool to boot.
Smug feelings - belong to Pedro

Lastly, I'd like to say I was very proud as a Ferrari supporter to see the touching mark of respect to their 4 fallen countrymen from yesterday. Condolences to the families and loved ones.

Can't say I'm unhappy with that result. 3rd is the best Alonso could have got.

unless the two Red Bulls would have crashed into each other... :whip:

But yeah, good result for Alonso :)
Great RBR, great Kobayashi and good Schumacher, at last!
McLaren was definitely better than in Singapore, but who knows what it is going to be like in Korea, Brazil and Abu Dhabi?

And how many crashes today! :D

Agree with the sentiments at the bottom, i didnt actually know italy had stationed troops there. I actually agree with your Fernando Analysis for once, inherits one place and no race challenge from Hamiltons various gearbox issues, and a podium through a loose renault wheel, astounding.

I think the troops were a part of the UN peace keeping force, they just happened to be Italian. RIP

Obviously fantastic job by Seb and Mark getting Red Bull's 3rd one-two of the season. I was most put out when Kubica lost his tyre because he could of got another good result and would of twisted the championship around a bit as well. I am however grateful that the tyre went under safety car conditions approaching the hairpin, crashing out at racing speeds around say the 130r would have been terrible.

A good race for Alonso because he kept with the Red Bulls to a point but could never really puncture their lead. I don't think he will be able to win the championship on podiums alone, he will have to win at least one race to win the WDC for sure. Massa was very unlucky with and obviously the race. I'm not suprised if he gets the drop soon. I mean I know he is having a bad season and all but as the old saying goes: "If y quali ou can't stand the heat, get out!"

I thought Jenson's plan was a good one at first but then the softs held on so he did not benefit in the end. Granted he may of pipped Alonso with a different strategy but the Red Bulls were so strong today. A sterling effort by Lewis considering his DNFs and crashing out in FP1. He had a really good start but got turned down by Alonso coming into turn 2. That gearbox problem was such a bad omen because it had just been replaced and he did really well to keep 5th.

I thought Schumacher did a much better drive today, obviously at a track he knows best. I was suprised that he was not able to pass Rosberg because I thought he had much more momentum at the time but he kept hitting the limiter whenever he tried to overtake. I was glad Rosberg was ok after that wheel fell off. I mean 2 of the same incidents in one race is not good news.

Both the williams drivers had bad starts and obviously Hulkenburg was caught out in that incident with Petrov who I really thought was too eager, he is obviously anxious to keep his seat for next year. Barrichello's race pace was quite poor compared to his qualifying. Williams seem to be strong in quali but when it comes to the race it can sometimes fall apart.

Sauber had a well deserved weekend with both drivers in the points and what a drive by Kamui Kobayashi! He is such an entertaining driver to watch, and as he was at his home race we could see all the action because the producers always had the cameras on him. A good drive by Nick as well in the points.

Force India had a very bad race as they had a bad qualifying and both drivers getting DNFs. They also lost 2 points to Williams in the WCC and hope to mend that gap in the last few races.

Buemi had a good race coming from 18th I think it was to a points scoring position in 10th. Alguesuari just missed out in 11th but a good showing by the team.

Lotus were happy with their result with 12th which was one of their strongest performances and confirms 10th place in the WCC which means they'll have a pretty good budget next season.
