Favorite moment when they showed Virgin garage and Glock was playing poker with his team and Di Grassi :D

As I stated back in August I still think the driver with five wins and with no more DNF's will win the world championship. As it is at the current standings Webber or Alonso will be the champion. Go Webber.

Since there was quite a bit of time to kill, SPEED reported that if Qualifying has to be canceled, then they'd line up by car number.

Wow that would put schumacher 2nd because of Hamilton's grid penalty.

5 grid place penalty for Hamilton.
Apparently he had to change his gearbox after the crash, and it hadn't done the required 4 races.
So Lewis's best grid position will now be 6th.

Wow I thought all the crash jokes about Hamilton were just the usual hijinx :hehe: .

Could there be hope for a podium finish :) !!!!! Maybe if he gets his setup absolutely perfect. Oh crap what if he jumps into the lead at the start and we get to see him lead a race once again :cloud9: ??

If Q is rained out tomorrow, that's how it would end up.

Honestly, a much better result for Lewis. If Q goes ahead it's unlikely he'll do better after his 5 grid place penalty and, no disrespect to Michael, but, in the Merc and Susuka being a track where you can pass, Lewis would almost count him as being one he would pass for sure.

On the other hand, its pretty likely that Q will happen tomorrow and it will be mostly dry.

I don't think that is a rule. Martin Whitmarsh probably said it hoping it would happen.

I think it would be down to the race directors to decide, and two of the most sensible ways to determine the grid would be:
- drivers' standings (1. Webber, 2. Alonso, 3. Hamilton, 4. Vettel, 5. Button.. with penalty for Hamilton to take into account)
- last race's results. (1. Alonso, 2. Vettel, 3. Webber, 4. Button and Hamilton from the back of the grid, I guess)

^That'd be better that doing it by car numbers, but either ways a a kick to meritocracy.
