Is Ferrari the best team for Fernando Alonso?

I heard this on the F1 debreif.

I think yes, even though some of the commentators thought otherwise.

The only other team i saw him on was Mercedes, so i would like some input.

He is a passionate driver and Ferrrari is a passionate team (money is a distance second).

BTW: Massa is awsome

The commentators were stating that it would be a personality conflict between managment, team and driver.

Even though I'm not an Alonso or Ferrari fan....I got to say that I much prefer the red team with Alonso there (as opposed to the Schumacher era).

Alonso is a champion...nothing less....he is passionate, fast and proudly Spanish. Now, in the absence of a competitive Spanish team...the only other logical fit is Ferrari.

That said...he'd be a good fit for Porsche in 2013
