How about Massa as WDC 2010, this is how it can happen?

Race by race analysis:
1. Japan
Button remains between Massa and Ferrari thus not allowing Ferrari to order Massa to let Alonso by. Alonso can't pass Button despite trying hard. Webber is a distant 4th. Hamilton and Vettel collide resulting in DNFs for both of them.
Standings at the end of the race
Mark Webber 214
Fernando Alonso 206
Jenson Button 195
Lewis Hamilton 182
Seb Vettel 181
Felipe Massa 153
2. Korea
A repeat of the last race in the sense that this time Vettel makes it difficult for Alonso to pass through allowing Massa to remain P1 after being fastest in qually, in the process becoming the first driver to win the Korean GP. Rosberg was a close 4th followed by teammate Schumacher in fast imrpoving Mercedis. Hulkenberg a surprise 6th ahead of 7th placed Hamilton, who was careful not to make any silly mistakes this time after 3 DNF's. Button remains at the back of the field after a Qually 7th, due to a mistake in the first lap turn 2. The race assumes significance as Alonso gained the WDC lead while Massa almost caught up with Hamilton making it a 6-horse race. Mark Webber and Button may become No. 1 choices of their respective teams, however nothing to that effect was stated by either of them.
Standings at the end of the race
Fernando Alonso 221
Mark Webber 214
Seb Vettel 199
Jenson Button 195
Lewis Hamilton 188
Felipe Massa 178
3. Brazil - In front of a cheering crowd, Massa got the expected result - a 1st, making full use of Alonso's engine blow-out to gain full points. A much more confident and improved Hamilton (after a non-DNF in Korea) was a distant second and Button a close 3rd after Hamilton refused to accept team orders and let Button pass by as McL felt Button was in a better position to challenge for WDC in the last race. Webber regained WDC lead after finishing 4th, ahead of Kubica in 5th and Vettel in 6th. Vettel off course yielded to Webber just seven laps before the finish line (on team orders, or what were you thinking!!), to enable him to widen his lead over Alonso, however in the mayhem Kubica also passed him.
Standings at the end of the race
Mark Webber 226
Fernando Alonso 221
Jenson Button 210
Seb Vettel 207
Lewis Hamilton 206
Felipe Massa 203
4. Abu Dhabi - Massa all the way off course from start to finish with Vettel and Hamilton rounding off the podium. Button was distant fourth with no chance of winning WDC even if Hamilton would have let him through. Webber off course started P12 from qually and despite a tactical blunder finished 11th, not good enough to win any points or WDC. Alonso needed to finish 5th to win WDC, but he remained stuck behind Kubica in 8th for much of the race, and when he did get past him on the penultimate lap, it seemed that 2008 could repeat itself and Massa can lose the WDC but Rosberg, 6th and Barrichello, a surprise 5th held back Alonso to let Massa win an astonishing victory. Hamilton hugs Massa at the podium.
Standing after the end of the race
Felipe Massa 228
Fernando Alonso 227
Mark Webber 226
Seb Vettel 225
Jenson Button 222
Lewis Hamilton 221
Ferrari wins constructor championship in one of the most keenly fought F1 contest.
I have made an Excel, where you can put the estimated or actual race positions of the drivers, and it automatically calculates the season ending rankings. You can easily try the various permutations therein, if someone wants it, PM Me and I will mail it to him.
