When you spend ages getting ready to watch the race you just want to watch it. Every 10 mins there is an advert break. Everyone turn over your t.v when the adverts come on then change back

I agree it's pathetic plain and simple as we miss alot of key action.

without the sponsors you wouldnt even have the choice of choosing not to watch the advets if you get what im saying hehe

I rarely watch a race start live anymore, my answer is to DVR the race and whizz by the commercials - I often watch the start of the race about 30 minutes in arrears and am live by the end.

I think we all understand the reasoning for all the advert's but that's does not mean we have to like them, right? When I record a F1 race I 'pause' during the advert's.

In the UK we have several channels (BBC) with no adverts at all, it's not pay TV as we all have to pay regardless of whether we watch these channels or not, unfortunately they did not bid enough to the greedy old man to get the franchise to transmit the races....

Ironically the channel which does have the franchise (ITV) pays the BBC to do all the production.

The ads suck but they pay for the greedy old man to get richer and richer.

I would do this but I like doing the live timing once in a while

At all cost I try to watch every race live instead of a rerun of it.

Yes i watch all the races live even if it means getting up really early. Why cant they put the race on BBC 1,2 or even BBC 3

Heck I have postponed date's for lunch due to having to be up at 3-4am for a race, I would not change anything though,

When I was in the UK, and I'm currently sitting in Singapore Qantas Lounge on my way back to the UK, it was Live Timing, ITV with the volume down and Radio 5 live on the radio.

James Allen made the hair on the back of my neck stand up...
