Probably posted already, so apologies if it has, but I've just found this link about the 2009 areo package regulations.

http://tinyurl.com/2eodxk

The highlights being
The technical directors agreed to proposals which are as follows:

- Front wing width increased to 180 instead of 140 cm.
- Front wing height decreased to 7.5 instead of 15 cm.
- The middle section over a width of 40 cm has to be a standard part.
- The driver may adjust the front wing flaps from the cockpit twice a lap by an angle of a maximum 6 degrees.
- Rear wing width 75 instead of 100 cm
- Rear wing height 95 instead of 80 cm

Adjustable front wing from the cockpit must making replacing the nose cone a NIGHTMARE.

Will it be another button on the steering wheel, or is it going to be some contraption with ropes and pulleys?

it's sad to see that to see some changes, we have to wait for the FIA new rules...if they were more opened to techincal freedom...

Possibly, but that's what forums are for isn't it. If we just discussed facts it would be very dull.

And the best part is no stupid CDG wing, that thing just looks awful, it makes the Ferrari F310 of 1996 and all the other ugly F1 cars of all time look good.

2009 aero package

Nice and interesting finding...

Adjustable front wing from the cockpit must making replacing the nose cone a NIGHTMARE.

Not really...
definitely the inside of the nose cone will be complex with circuits and stuff. But the part where it attaches to the main body will probably just have a simple sensor/plug similar to a detachable-face car stereo...
