:wavey: He was very annoyed with qualifying, do you get the bbc pre race coverage? It was mentioned there (before the race) that McLaren were concerned about Lewis's state of mind, even if it was over ambition it suggests a flaw to me. As he was leading the WDC and had more to lose from that move.

Yeah i watch all that shizznay but dont remember any mention, maybe he was cloudy, i dont think its possible at all for him to make a mistake like that again this year, just so happens that it was twice in a row, even rarer considering his performance this year, looking forward to see how far in front red bull still are in japan though.

Alright back on topic, I think if redbull don't storm this race, the pressure will start to crack them. After all, pretty much everyone is saying this track suits them best out of all of those remaining, and the logic in their minds will instrumentally follow: "if we can't do it here".

I could think of a couple of posters who I won't feel guilty going all out with, but myownalias isn't one of them. So no need for nipping anything in the bud, it will be civil.

no word for poor whats burning.....hes probably crying right now.

PS: being a mod doesnt not make you impartial. not a dig at myownalias in the slightest, just go on planet f1 forum, mod is a total bias lovestick who favours forumners as though they pay him to.

:hehe: Never had a spat with Whats Burning either, so he can stop crying now.

I don't believe in impartial mods, they're fans too and have their favourites...I have been in forums before where a mod got me kicked out because I disliked her God - Juan Pablo Montoya. That was something. :D

:yikes: I sure hope racechick won't ban me!! :yikes:

From what I see so far, racechick isn't a psycho pretending to be normal. That other mod gave away her intentions from the beginning, as I saw my posts magically re-edited, deleted, etc with no warnings whatsoever! And I was in those forums much longer than she had been! Pretty frustrating I tell you. :hehe:

Hmmm that's a bit optimistic. Fact is, he's certainly exposed to more of those... just as much as the others. Perhaps even more, if the MP4 is not qualifying in the front row. But you're right, 2 in a row was a surprise.

I think this applies to everyone: not nailing front row in qualifying sets "unlucky" mode on.

My wish:
A mclaren 1-2 and alonso crashing into webber(DNF for both) LOL...

My prediction:
A redbull win(possible 1-2)...the 3rd and 4th place will be closely fought by alonso and hamilton...

Actually it's more probable for the engine to blow all its cylinders during the race itself, as they are recycling engines from here on in. I hope it holds up well and gives him 1st in all practice sessions and pole position on Saturday, and while he's flying of into the distance (like Michael in Suzuka 2006) the engine decides to make Hammer278 jump around for joy.

And before anyone talks about 'sportsmanship' and about me wishing for misfortune on others, well I don't like to see any competitor falling out due to unreliability except for Alonso. I'm very open about that. :D

I believe that Hamilton is starting to crumble under the pressure; I believe that earlier in the season, Lewis wouldn't have made the mistakes he has made recently!

NO way! Monza was an error. Singapore was not.He made the move cleanly and as past Webber, the crash was webbers fault. Webber was lucky not to get a penaly but it was close enough to call a racing incident...but boy was webber lucky and lewis unlucky. Lewis has 4 DNF's and only one down to a misjudgement, 2 machinary and one being barged off by a competitor. So no he's not crumbling.

Oh please.....can you just let it go. Accept that you are in the minority following the "event" in Singapore. Nearly every pundit and professional observer has seen it the same way as the racing standards adjudicator....a racing incident....certainly not to be blamed squarely on either driver.

Your one-eyed support of Hamilton is extremely admirable....but boy does it get tiresome!

It sure does.

But i dont take pundits that seriously, i mean they are all F1 fans themselves, they all have their favorites, as much as they try to hide it!

Nish you're right to take a level look at pundits opinions, of course they'll have their favourite.........but hounddub you are wrong when you say the pundits have the same view, they dont. And you're wrong about my one eye. Both are firmly on my boy
