Sentenced by a judge in Modena to 20 months in jail for sabotage, espionage, fraud and attempting a to cause a serious injury. Probably will serve far less:

Planet F1 reports the sentence was suspended. My Italian must be worse than I thought.

The most I've read is no time because of some Italian legal technicality but no explanation of what is was.

In all fairness now. Doing jail time for what he did is a bit overkill.

Is it because the Italian government, like so many othes, gave all their money to the bamkers, and they can't afford to keep anyone in prison any more?
