BUT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD GIVE WEBBER SOME BAD LUCK! ( and alonso is theres any spare)

Why? Webber has had some atrocious luck over the years; he was usually the guy that got taken out by someone while doing well in a car that wasn't the best, multiple retirements with mechanical failures, I'm happy that Mark finally has some luck going his way!

Why? cause i want someone else to win mate lolol. I know hes had bad luck entire career but dude, how he managed second in Spa from 5th after first lap and then the same kind of situation in singapore, its just like...what is this guy not alllowed to be punished for bad qualis/race start mistakes?...
I think hes won it anyway and although im looking forward to the next few years, in which Mclaren should make a front running car, its Lewis' titles to win, so ill be glad if Webber wins this year honestly, id just rather Lewis. and ANYONE but Fernando Alonso, driven two great races so far this season and somehow is labelled the driver of the year (Ferrari boys). Doesnt deserve it IMO.

My sentiments exactly. If Lewis doesn't win, I'm rooting for Webber, the guy who crashed Lewis out. Oh the irony!!!! :banghead:

This one'll REALLY grind your gears then. He was voted best driver on the grid this season in an F1 Racing poll - a poll of all the drivers this season! :P

Whoever wins this years title will be a worthy champion; it's been a titanic battle so far; five drivers still in the title race with four races remaining, that's unheard of. I don't like Fernando Alonso but if he wins, it'll be something special given how far he was behind in Silverstone. Webber is in the box seat for the title being 11 points ahead; Hamilton has only himself to blame, 100% his fault in Monza and could have avoided the collision with Webber in Singapore; he closed the door on Webber before being completely past the Red Bull, Hamilton should have taken a wider line to allow Webber space, did Hamilton think that Webber was just going to disappear? I would bet my all my future earnings that Lewis would not have conceded the position and held his line the same as Webber; a racing incident, simple as that; this is what racing is about!

I know Button's really going to be going for it in Japan, so I'm hoping he clocks up Win number 3 here.

What more luck can a driver ask for than a markedly superior car on the grid?

Itd of grinded my gearing? If i actually took polls like that seriously. Hang on, ive just re-read tyour post, ok thats fair enough if its best driver ON as oppose to OF this season, Hamilton has kept all season in touch with a car five times as good and has made no (bar 1 major) errors and driven like a superhero. I can see fully why Alonso was voted that cause he is one of two greats racing at the moment, so it doesnt bother me at all, especially as Hamilton is ranked either above or the same level as Alonso with about 4 years less experience. So yeah Alonso is fine for that claim. If its a driver OF the season and Alonso is picked, then sour grapes is jealousy is why Hamilton/Kubica arent top. Those two have been amazing this year.

Oh yeah and just to show all polls need to be taken with a slice of subjectivity and bias, hamilton was voted 17th best ever F1 driver and 68 percent wanted him lower(worse ranked) then that, Alonso was ranked 9th and got 50/50 as to should he be higher or lower. The hatred towards Hamilton world over will make it all the more sweeternwhen we wins his next few WDC's which he is bound to do so.

Be interesting to see what sort of damage limitation Alonso can manage IF what Ferrari says about not suiting the circuit is true.

if that is true, which i doubt I think they might turn the wick down and save the engine and get as many points as possible on the day.
