Burndel's and Benson's race blogs are now up, I quite like Benson's its very well written. Neither really say anything we haven't noted here though, apart from this little tidbit:
The Spaniard [Alonso] is Webber's closest friend among the drivers, but there will be no favours from either, or any of the other title contenders, as this stunning season comes to its dynamic climax.

NOOO! Just when I was starting to forgive Webber he goes back down in my estimation!!!!!

Nothing new there. Webber, Alonso & Kubica get on well. They are always chatting amongst each other during the driver parade and pr events.

Nobody laugh but I'm interested to see what Virgin will do, Their turning up with a major update which they recon will get them on the same footing as Torro Rosso. Their pushing to get a 12th place, they need it too beat the 2 other new teams.

I'm not laughing. It would make first qualifying a lot more interesting if there was more than just the one question mark over who goes out.

Hmm, A tiny bit faster but not what anybody expected.

I was okay with it until I saw Red Bull guys jumping up and down and clapping hands because Hamilton was out of the race. I can fully understand when your teammate overtakes someone and you're happy but clapping hands because of one's unluck is unsportsmanship.

Interesting how you interpreted that, I thought they were happy because their car had survived the impact.

IIRC it was some Ferrari mechanic clapping to which i shouted at the tv (in hindsight i shouldnt have): enjoy it while it lasts you italian edit.

Amazing that you can tell the nationality of Ferrari mechanics by looking at them on TV - you should put your clairvoyance skills to a better use.
Also, it has already been pointed out the McLaren pit reaction in 2008 - I wonder if they were "planted mole" Italians dressed up as McLaren crew?
Either way, and speaking as someone with Italian heritage, you're welcome at my gym anytime, where I'll happily explain to you where I think you can put your racist views, ditto to the moddy that edited the swear-bypass but shares the racist sentiment.

Lets say a new team joins F1, its called China Gp. the pit crew member shown on tv is oriental looking, do we hold bback from assuming hes chinese cause he may be mongolian, no, we state the obvious.
Secondly, hindsight is a beautiful thing, dont give me all the racist talk, you wouldnt know what racism is if it slapped you with a wet fish. Im not even gonna give the (oh myy good friends are italian so im not racist) blah blah blah talk, i do have italian friends but theres no need to say it. you clearly have no idea what being racist is and i already in my first post said i shouldnt have said it, although i was talking mainly about the extreme profanity. But thats passion right? Its not only the Tifosi allowed to be passionate about a team in F1, ive seen Lewis go out twice in two now and im more then allowed to vent my frustration out at someone who clearly enjoyed it (mainly cause its their guys only chance of winning) Id expect Italians and Spaniards alike to have done exactly the same should they show Mclaren celebrating an Alonso DNF. Nice fighting talk too, i guess im lucky ive got a computer screen right!

How does one look Italian? It's not fair to assume he is just because he works for Ferrari,

This is turning into a really poor excuse for some people to try and prove me wrong, what you said makes no sense, it is entirely "fair" to assume he is. What the actual hell is wrong with assuming that? Best part is youve totally bypassed what the actual point is, you guys are moaning at me cause you seem to think im moaning that they did it when Mclaren have done etc, no, my single sentece post merely stated how i expressed frustration at that moment in time, and in the same post i apologised for it, more then willing to facepalm people who want to earmark that as racist though, i hear bloody french being in england all to often but nobody actually detests the french, the french (i know this as oppose to assuming) do the same. What i said was only a tad more extreme then that example which is pure banter. I am not going to feel the need to prove i am not racist to a bunch of strangers that didnt like the fact i called a member of their beloved team a naughty words (whilst stating he was italian, which may aswell have been triple homicide for how youve reacted)

I'm not even calling you racist, I'm just disagreeing its enough to say that if he works for Ferrari he must be Italian with lack of other information available. You still haven't answered that point, apart from going "why can't I". Well I dunno about you, but I generally would make it clear if I'm guessing, and not just assume when I don't have enough information to do so.

In FRAFS defence, maybe "You bloody Italian" sounds better than "You bloody Ferrari employee".

I dont know why you would be is a better point.
I can understand where your point lies, just dont agree with the fact that i see Ferrari "enforcing" its drivers to speak Italian, thats one reason why i automatically assumed hes italian(cause itd come naturally to him obviously), he was beyond what youd call "latin-looking" and what was the last one.....The team hes a mechanic at is....Ferrari, my brains natural sub-conscious process of elimination made him italian, im still pretty sure he is. The only valid argument you can have against my OP was the profanity (which is laughable to suggest that in a moment like that i was supposed to keep it in, when nobody was even around to hear it but myself) or the fact i even mentioned that hes italian. Maybe i shoulnt have mentioned the italian part, think of any "two worded" insult youve ever heard people say, the first word is always a word stating that they're different from you and the second is always the derogatory term. Like, you stupid..... or you dirty..... you wouldnt use them both if you were stupid or dirty yourself. Tad weird to try and explain but i hope it nails the point. I just stated hes italian, take that how you want im gonna lose no sleep over peoples wrong judgement.

I'm not really interested in anything else you posted apart from why you assumed he's Italian, as I never really made the assumption that a Ferrari mechanic would be Italian.

Probably because youve realised its right.... its not hard to grasp, Latin looking, italian team,GERMAN!, er. no.

Enough with the racist remarks; does it really matter what nationality the mechanic is? A person's nationality has no bearing on the race; I'll thank everyone to steer clear of such comments, it's not needed nor wanted on this forum, play nice, remember we are taking bookings for fishing trips!!!
