At least we have some consistency from the stewards now - no penalties given for any of the similar incidents we've had today and recently.

Ya makes for a pleasant change. Although that Schumacher & Heidfeld one looked a bit wild.

ALONSO ALONSO ALONSO ALONSO!

Pole, fastest lap and the win. Job done.

Ow and haha, another DNF for Hambone. Love it. :headbang:

Great race by Nando, do think yu should bite your tongue until the next four races are over, or else this ost could make you look pretty foolish.

Pretty foolish has been the last two races from Hamilton.

Lewis was the only one of the top drivers to overtake another top one. He did overtake, was well ahead of Webber because Webber hit his REAR wheel. Webber was very lucky not to get a penalty. It wouldnt have helped Lewis but unfair Webber gets off scott free.

He tried to pass Webber around the outside. Very silly.

You need classes. Lewis was in front of mark and yet again webber shows how dirty he is. If you saw the interview by jake bias humfreys, mark said he was prepaired to do anything to win.

If it was Alonso on the end of webbers rampage would you be saying the same thing, i think not.

As long as Lewis is in front of Jenson at the end of the season then i am happy and we live to fight another day. As it stands now i would rather see vettel win it than any of the others.

Four races left and still everything to play for. Maclaren need to get the car right next season because i have a feeling that the silver arrows will be strong next year.

He was past Webber round the outside!!

Haha is that what you call an overtaking maneuver? He didn't get ahead and Webber hit him.

I think you need to watch the race again. Enjoy Alonso's epic win instead ;)

As I have just said Kubica was my driver of the day. Nothing particularly exciting about Alonso's win, pole to flag in one of the fastest cars.
And yes. Lewis' move was a good overtaking manoever but the car being overtaken has to accept it has been passed and not drive the passing car offthe road..

McLaren's cars seem to be much more fragile... I know it's just unfortunate hits but man, we've seen the Ferrari's survive smacks like crazy, Barrichello's rear ending of Alonso and not a scratch. The red bulls can crash into anyone else and are guaranteed to live to continue the race, actually it feels like the only crash a Red Bull car hasn't survived was when they crashed into each other.

McLaren has come out on the short end of every tussle.

Some people here need to growup and realize that F1 does not revolve around LH  . Kubica made a clean outside pass and we all said "WOW that was awesome" but since LH did not now it's Webbers fault, how rediculous and blinded can one be??

Dont tell me to grow up!! Same move, Kubica had co-operation Lewis didnt.
Why do you always have to become personal? Discuss the facts and opinions not the people making them!!

The F10 is proving to be an excellent "all-round" car. It's not as fast down the straights as the MP4-25, and its doesn't have the corner speed of the RB6. It does seem to be able to brake later than most, and looks really stable. It also seems to be pretty kind on tyres.

Fernando is definitely the "in form" driver ATM. He absorbed massive amounts of pressure in Europe and some pretty ferocious attacks from the media, and yet he seems to have turned that into inspiration for the team and himself. He praised the team for the win at Monza and talked down his race efforts. He is proving himself a genuine champion.

The strategies and tactics of Stefano Domenicali have needed to be spot on, and they have been. And the teamwork from the rest of the SF team members have been top notch (e.g. that Monza pit stop!).

No wonder Ferrari have worked themselves from an impossible position to a chance to win the WCC and WDC.

Having said all that, this is F1 racing, and, rest assured all the other fans that one good race for your team and things can change in 2 hours of racing. I think there are two key questions:-

1) Can the other drivers and teams, now under a little pressure, respond as Ferrari and Fernando did?
2) Can personal egos and ambitions be placed second - for the good of the team?

One thing is for certain, the winners will be very deserving and worthy in 2010.

Nothing particularly exciting about Alonso's win, pole to flag in one of the fastest cars.

Great driving, tho. Grand Chelem and holding off Seb at the end.

Alonso is by far my least fav driver out of the big 5 (my motto for the remaining 4 races is Anyone But Alonso), but hats off to him today. Very clean. Didn't erase 2 years ago, but it sure showed his skills/mental fortitude.

The real question is why are you taking this personal when my comment was not directed at anyone specifically, if it was I would have directed it at YOU specifically. It was a general observation, and I'm not alone, yet you took the bait "hook line and sinker" and you should know me better by now in that if I'm gonna F with someone I will be precise in my intent!! You see you just proved my point in that some of you Mclaren fans especially the LH ones cannot take criticism  !!!

Yes I have to agree with that.

Because I was the person making the points you responded to.

I updated my reply but then again you have proved my point with your last reply, it's all about you isn't it :violinist: ???

So.... webber is 20 points ahead (less than a win) and Alonso is 9 points ahead of Hamilton at the moment with 4 races to go... A walk in the park I say.

Should be a walk for Alonso or Webber now that Hamiltons choking.
