That video doesn't really give an impression of the supposed undulations there'll be around the track...

Oh no, that reminds me of Bahrain. I hope I'm wrong.

At this point I would chance a guess that most of us americans could care less about the similarities to Bahrain  .

I'm very familiar with the area and your right but that part of Austin is less hilly than the west side.

I love the artistic license that put an American flag on a Ferrari.

The video was awful, but I think the circuit will stand on it's own and it will be supported. What I'm afraid of is for silly local municipal stipulations like getting all of the fans out of the area after the event in 3 hours don't put the kibosh on the whole thing since it will take YEARS for those infrastructure improvements to happen.

That was a pretty awful clip.

This fact can't be overstated. That was the worst rendering I've seen of a track since... I don't know..., Pole Position or something. It doesn't appear to be to scale, for one thing not appearing to be wide enough. It's perfectly flat, whereas the actual circuit will be anything but. Any track would look boring and lifeless if you completely flatten it out, shrink it to a smaller scale, and have it floating in a black void.

For those unaware, here's the Pole Position I referenced:

I'm sorry for this, but this is one of my pet peeves. Millions of people all over the place state this phrase incorrectly, not realizing that they're actually saying something totally different from what they mean; almost the opposite of what they mean. To make sense, by which I mean for it to mean what you mean for it to mean (I deliberately used "mean" repeatedly there for my amusement), you need to say "I couldn't care less." This is a night and day difference, and the fact that nobody seems to get this bugs the bloody crap out of me.

I stumbled upon something that illustrates my point:

I dumped my last english teacher back in '84 and do not need another one so I suggest getting over it  . If you want to correct grammar/spelling or pronunciation on this forum or any other for that matter you have your work cutout for you. This is not a school forum and I stumbled upon something that illustrates my point:http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.p ... mar%20Nazi
