Hangon I was being factual, why are you only allowed to be the one stating facts? The SC was in the pitlane exit it wasnt even on track yet so it wasnt as you say a fore gone conclusion. And When was the first time he passed the SC? Have you got factual evidence that is not hearsay... common walk your talk!

So, was the fact that it earned a Black on a 'lesser' category not mean similar punishment could be expected on F1... Or asking for that ussual punishment biased and hateful??

and ive seen the arial video on youtube look at it, less than a cars length... If i was Hamilton i too would have gone for it!

He didnt need to be P2 to be ahead of the SC... remember, Lewis WAS P2 and DIDN'T manage to come ahead of the SC

Dude? Lewis was P2 and had the opportunity of staying ahead, regardless of what Hamilton did, Alonso was always going to be behind the SC. Concentrate on his own race and get over his Hamilton complex and he might smile some more!

yeah At the local lesser category "Karting" track a team got black flagged for team orders... hey atleast karting is under the FIA so youd expect similar rules, unlike GP2 where they dont come under the same banner...

Doesnt matter who judges who... its a smaller racing category and the punishment was handet out without hatefulness or bias. FIA nor no FIA.

You also wanted black flagging and 'relevant' punishment for Team orders as well... but the problem, is y'all want it under your own terms. How convenient.

The drive through punishment was appropriate for something so close. And lets not kid ourselves. Look at it again in a video replay and you can clearly see that he hesitates, and then gives it the juice to get past. In realtime it was very quick, I think that still image backs that up given how fast these cars are.

Some will say he hesitated and then tried to squirt ahead at the line to keep the other cars behind the SC (this is what I think since it is what a clever driver will do). He had to wait to the last minute so the Ferrari couldn't sneak by as well... Remember how quickly F1 cars accelerate.

Some will say he hesitated since he was trying to remember the rule, or whether the SC was past the line. I don't buy this as much as him being a clever race driver and trying to keep the Ferrari behind the SC.

OK, back to title rankings! The issue of Hamilton overtaking the SC has been well discussed on this forum, let's put it to bed! The important people, the FIA believed that Hamilton deliberately overtook the safety and they gave him a penalty; albeit a pretty weak one given the time they took to make the decision! Alonso lost his head completely which I believe had a detrimental effect on his race. Whining about the decision won't help, he needed to clear his head and drive his own race as his engineer suggested!

I think it is you who might be surprised... they spend nowdays much more time running simulators than real track.

BUT, case in point. I am joking (and im sure bud as well) about the stuff related to the video game thing and/or beating whoever... I think you were joking about it being easy to beat Bruno hehe. Because... what important difference would it make in my life to beat X or Y person on a PS3?? I dont even have one! (PS3) haha

all 5 have a shot, maybe the top 2 are the most deserving as of now, but then again vettel has shown signs of absolute magic. alonso has been very inconsistant hes lucky to be so close, jenson has been average so far with a few flashes of brilliance.

but for me its between mark and lewis and with the fly away's i would be giving it to mark at the moment.

constructors ? has to be McLaren, redbull have made far to many errors but have built what will be one of the greatest f1 cars ever, ferrari started well fell back took a long time to catch up been very professional in doing so it must be said, i find stefano Dominicali to be very passionate and knowledgable and not afraid of the cameras.

i would say constructors is even harder to call than drivers, but its fair to say its between redbull and mclaren

Yes, Stefano seems to have managed to hall the team back to race winning form after Sliverstone, "If you don't believe you can win the championship, leave now" (or something) he said in a meeting. I'm even starting to like Luca's more hardball talk.

Redbull though, in terms of management just don't seem to have it tbh, in making the right decisions and keeping it cool and focused, their the ones with the fastest car, all they need to do is reel it in and bring it home, their job should be focusing on lacking mistakes to a greater extent than Mclaren for example. McLaren have done really well, and I think they'll find focus again soon after a short dip in form.

Lewis Hamilton has singled out Ferrari driver Fernando Alonso as his most dangerous rival for the world title.
But Hamilton said ahead of Sunday's Singapore Grand Prix: "Fernando seems to be [the main threat] because Ferrari have really stepped up their game.

"[I am] assuming they are our closest rivals at the moment."
Asked which of the main protagonists was the favourite this weekend, Hamilton responded: "I guess the guy who won the last race - so I'll let Fernando be the favourite, that's fine for me."
"Ferrari are more competitive now and have scored more points than anyone in the last few races.

"They were running an aerodynamic package that suits Monza, and maybe they put a lot of time in to win at home, but they showed their pace and we will see how they stand here.

"This is an important race to understand where Ferrari are and where we are compared to Red Bull."

Button also believes Alonso has an added advantage because he is not facing a championship rival within his own team, unlike the McLaren and Red Bull drivers.
"It's got to help knowing that your team-mate will back you up - if that's the case, and I'm not saying it is.

"Felipe could be taking points off of us but, if our car is quick and we're winning races, he could be taking points off Red Bull which is also good for us."

"If we have five podiums in the five races we will be very close to winning the title because consistency this year has not been the strongest point for anyone," said Alonso.

"I think we can have a quick car everywhere in the remaining races.

"We don't have the quickest car in the slow-speed corners or the quickest car on the straight-line speed - something which our opponents have - but we are a very competitive package overall in all types of conditions and hopefully this can help us in the remaining races.
"A DNF or a retirement will now probably be bye-bye for the championship."

Red Bull team principal Christian Horner also said he believes Ferrari are more dangerous than McLaren.

"I see Ferrari as the biggest threat, to be honest," Horner said.

"They have a quick car, and arguably they have been the closest to us since halfway through the year.

"They had a bit of bad luck in the middle of the year around Valencia and Silverstone, but in Hockenheim they were quick, and they were closest to us in Budapest. Spa didn't go their way but they were quick again in Monza, so arguably I see Ferrari as the biggest challenge.
