I really find it incredibly difficult to pick a potential winner as things stand. If I'd been asked prior to Monza I'd have pretty firmly said it would only be between Webber and Hamilton, but through a variety of circumstances, somehow the chasing pack hall took leaps and bounds in Italy....

So now I'm not so sure. If Vettel can just stop crashing into things I have a strong feeling that he will bridge the gap to the front, and in spite of recent results I have another gut feeling that the Ferari's won't be in there by the time the last race comes around.

Of course I could well be completely wrong, but my gut instinct is that at the last race it will be between Webber, Hamilton and Vettel (not necessarily in that order of course!), and the winner I simply couldn't pick at this stage.

All I know is that there will be a fantastic climax the the end of the season, can't wait!

Patience is a virtue. Just make sure you clean up afterwards :hehe:

In my opinion the champion of this year will be Alonso. He is rising now so it would be hard to stop him. Also his team is supporting him so he seems to have more adventage than other pilots at some point.

im not buying this stuff about how the ferrari is all of a sudden a versatile car they have been more inconsistent this season than vettels starts

i think hamilton has lost his best chance at the championship crashing out in monza while its gona be close webber will just edge the points in the coming race, but thats only going by the face that all 5 titles challengers finish each one and the likelihood of that happening is very slim looking back at this seasons form. so its really still anyones but redbull have the advantage.

It's not all of a sudden though, they were quick at Germany, Hungary and Monza for example, 3 varied tracks. Not to mention everything in between that they've been quick on. That's pretty damn versatile! But really, the Red Bull is the most versatile car...

Ferrari certainly have a quick car right now; whether it will be as fast as the Red Bull's remains to be seen! If Fernando Alonso wants to win the title in his first year at Ferrari he will need to keep his head when things don't go his way, unlike earlier in the season when he really let Hamilton get inside his head at Valencia and Silverstone.

It's going to come down to Lewis and Mark and Webber's an honorary Brit, anyway. He lives in England and likes the English sense of humour. :hehe:

But it wasnt Hamilton getting in his head, it was the safety car issue, and the fact that valencia was one of the precious tracks for Alonso to get a good point haul. Look at the race, he was set to at least 2nd. the way he lost all those pts definitely messed him up. Ah well...
Silverston was just a borderline track, where the ferrari wasnt really that good, but he could capitalise on the Maccas struggling as bit, so again, missing on those points must have been annoying.

The Monza poitns for Lewis was a tough blow. More or less comparable to Jenson's at Spa, and like Valencia for Alonso, but since Lewis' problem was simply a mistake by him, i'm sure it was easier to get over than the other two.

I've just remembered I havent put a vote.... i would put money on Webber, but i wish Alonso wins it. if he does win it, it would be magical, same more or less as if Button wins it.
