Hamilton had to get points on webber today, he lost points to webber, if he cant do it on a track like this, what makes you think hell overcome him with 5 races to go, of which all suit the RBR's characteristics. I am a Hamilton fan btw, not a Webber fan trying to convicne myself.

Only argument you have is that Red Bulls starts are absolutely atrocious, and Vettel andWebber front rows could cause some accidents.

You know what... i've found i dont dislike Lewis that much. I really dont mind him, and think he does a good job and is a reasonably nice guy. He used to be much more annoying, but really has levelled and definitely grown a lot. Maybe the not so succesful last season brought him back to earth... but he's not a bad guy at all.

Oh, I am not the only one to have changed my mind about him, then.

:clap::clap: He was always nice!! Just very young and a touch naive. But nice and an ace driver. Its soooooooooo good that you are seeing this. :D:D:D:D:D:D

Yes. hehe he's not a bad guy. Maybe most of the stuff he does is just doing what he gotta do...... considering how young he was and in what position he was i guess he's done a very good job the past seasons to settle his head and be more natural. For some reason I think at first he was trying too hard to be someone he was not....

Other than t hat, still dont see how some of the super fans still claim the man destroys... dominates... and so on... when many guys are doing similr good jobs around him.......... but anyway still he's doing a good job, better than many. Just not that absolute undisputable dominance as many like to "enforce" ;)

Hambone out on the first lap with a stupid amateur mistake and Alonso with the win. Just what I wanted to see.

Pole, Win & Fastest Lap. Job done Alonso, job done. :drink:

Also, Button raced a superb race it must be said.

Its more the fact when he is on form he is untouchable but his main problem is consistency and he tends to make silly mistakes like today which is slightly down to inexperience and more to do with the fact no one is perfect.
Personally i love his driving style as i prefer the more aggressive drivers, some may not like aggressive driving because it can cause crashes but to me without drivers aggressively fighting for position this sport just wouldn't be racing.

The good thing is though when Hamilton goes a little too far most of the time he only takes himself out :p.

I'm glad you're warming up to him. The reason I'm a fan is because he makes you believe that he can get it done, period. The guy has an aura around him and has pulled off spectacular performances, to see prolonged dominance in any sport is a shame since I feel it detracts from the excitement.

I am an F1 fan first, and I watch because I love to watch masterful performances regardless of who give them. I've always maintained to anyone that listened that F1 is not only the pinnacle of automotive technology but the pinnacle of driving skill.

Fernando today had a flawless drive, a masterful performance, seeing he and Jenson stalemate one another for 3/4 of the race was amazing and I enjoyed that even though my race was over at lap 1.

The prime tyre can last the full race, the option who knows but well over half race distance. What a joke this two compound rule is. Previously bridgestone used a wet/drying track as an axcuse for tyre longevity so what's their excuse this time?

I'd much rather see tyre choice and degredation dictate pitstops rather than having the teams fit the mandatory pitstops in to just suit the strategy.

interesting race, even as a non ferrari supporter its nice to see the italian passion for racing at monza and for ferrari so congrats to Ferrari mainly and alonso second he didnt give up and didnt get hot under the pressure, and ferrari payed him back for being there when it counted.

good button race, when he does he really does show his racing prowess and class, unlucky with the hard tyre could have very easily been his in the end and alonso with the tyre struggle.

good on massa for a solid finish, everyone bashes him but hes proving to ferrari time and time again hes fast enough and deserves the seat just as much as alonso.

it does look like Webbers to loose now but 1. its too close still 2. as this season has proved time and time again anything can happen so people saying webber has won it already are overstepping it i guess.

i think we can all be happy with what appears to be the most exciting battle to the finish of a world championship in years. ITS BRILLIANT !

Yup, makes no excitement sense. And on the other hand you get drivers having problems getting the tires warm for Q...

Perhaps Pirelli will be a bit more aggressive (or the FIA will ask for a more aggressive stance). And the no refueling... still finding it diffucult to enjoy.

It was an awesome and a disappointing race for me.It was fun to watch. But i was like :'Nooo, nooooo waaayyyy!!!'' when Lewis was out.I think he deserved that, though.I was hopeful of Button but then 36th lap when lots of pit stops happened, the race changed.I was hopeless about McLaren(i mean Button) i knew he wasnt gonna win.The celebrations after the race were really fun. There was an enormous Ferrari flag, and it was really funny when Massa threw the bottle to fans.I enjoyed celebrations although i am a McLaren fan.My little sister who is 8 also started to watch the races with me and she supports Ferrari, she enjoyed the celebrations.I wish i started to watch races at that age,i would be wise about F1.

They'd be as well just making everyone pay a stop go penalty on the lap of their choice and doing away with tyre changes.

How did Hulkenburg not even get investigated for cutting the chicanes? The last one was blatant. :yikes:

Massa was given a warning from race control in Monaco a year or two ago for cutting the exit of the swimming pool and he wasn't racing against anyone at the time, was the Hulk given any such warning?
