What do you mean again? McLaren have been pretty much spot on on tactics the whole season, better than anyone else. Although bad outcome for Jenson.
Lewis..what a stupid mistake to make right now, gives me flashbacks of 2008 and 2009 when he did those kind of mistakes. Vettel was really really good out there :O

Malaysian GP bad decision in Quali, China i think with Lewis doing 283 pitstops which cost him 1st place are the 2 i can remember off the top of my head.
But they haven't been spot on this season they have been good in some races and just terrible in some aswell.

Ferrari may have jumped Button anyway even if they had pit first instead of Button but it just seemed like it was a battle to see which team cracked first and Mclaren clearly gave in early, Vettel pretty much proved that the prime tyres weren't faster than the option even with 40-50 laps done on the option so why did Mclaren claim they were?

Vettel/RBR made the better call and managed to make a decent amount of points out of what was looking like a terrible race compared to Mclaren who were struggling but had the race win and threw it away.

Pretty impressive drives from both Fernando and Jenson to be that close for most of the race trading fastest laps would take it's toll mentally! Gotta give Fernando props for that win!

I am at a friends place in Italy (Where I go to watch most F1 races). Just thought I would quickly post this before I get totally drunk. (Looks like I wont be going home tonight) We are all celebrating this awesome victory for Alonso and Ferrari. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm ecstatic right now. I am kicking myself for not going to Monza this year. This is awesome. Words cannot describe my feelings right now. Bt the way I love the guy who was waving the big Croatian zastava (flag) near the podium with all the Ferrari tofosi (He was probably one of them anyway) near the podium. (Where they had that big huge Ferrari sheet thing they were holding. What a Croatian CHAMPION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

wait are you telling me that with vettel coming 4th at thecrs worst track of the season, that anyone is going to actually beat Red Bull, in any of the remaining races. We have all pushed our lukc in RBR's misfortune and mistakes, they wont make any more for sure, even if they do itll only be one or two, with Alonso Hamilton and Button having to finish in theop three for the remaining races.

So your argument being, they won't make a mistake which won't result in a 5 points difference for Lewis in 1500KMs+ of racing, and then say i am kidding, :hehe:

Fantastic, Alonso takes it, good thinking from Ferrari this time, they had the pace, just let Button go in first, put in a good lap and there you go. Poor start from Alonso though, good mental strength from Button holding it together from Alonso who was clearly trying to pressure him into dropping the ball. That's one of Button's strengths, would Vettel have kept Alonso behind him? I think the Ferrari's tyres were in better shape than Button's, Jenson was locking up shortly before pitting, that Ferari is supposed to be particularly kind on its tyres.

Jenson: "wasn't expecting Alonso to be able to break so late", heh I was. Liked seeing him talk to Stefano at the end there, I think Stefano is generally well liked and respected in the paddock.

About time redbull showed some smart stragety thinking, good recovery from Vettel,

Racing incident with Hamilton, bit thoughtless though if you consider the WDC (ie he's got more to lose than gain so should be more cautious) Massa had track position and was always going to take the racing line there, seen Alonso show that sort of over aggression.

I think the WDC will come down to "luck", its going to be tight (unless the redbull's sort their starts out).

your saying it as though Hamilton is going to be flawless for the remaining races, Ferrari are now equal to Mclaren, if they keep switching places in races with Red Bull consistently finishing 1-2, which they are bound to do. Nobody else has a chance, i dont know how anyone can think its not over, the tracks suit RBR so much that they can afford a mistake or two

Well apart from the first word of your post, Id pretty much agree with your analysis.

Not sure why Webber was so angry, all things considered he got valuable points today.

What was RBR's positions in Korea last year?
And i don't even like Hamilton still he's only 5 points away,
And then to say:
Its over and being surprised if anyone says otherwise
Hamilton (and others will make mistakes and infight)
RBR won't make any (because they haven't made any all season long right?)
Afford a mistake a two with 5 points in the balance, OKaaayy!

I never said Lewis will win it i said it ain't over because its.. well Not over, 5 races to go.

Yes. Wonderful race from both of them... Ferrari was seemingly faster, but Button had a very good race and in the end it came down to Alonso being able to keep the tires for a bit longer, or maybe pushing Button hard all race long so that he would wear his tires.

But the way they traded the laps and kept on eachother was really nice to see... specially in such a fast and on the edge circuit. That was awesome. I think it showed, they both recognized a great race.

VERY surprising strategy with Vettel! who was probably able to pull that off because he was running not at full because of the engine issue. but was able to "nurse" it to 4th... that was a good clever job. At a moment i was thinking what would be the penalty for going stopless?

Ah well, that was a massive flexing of muscles.
