As it looks like we all have vastly differing view's on the politics of the 2007 season, which we will never agree on, letâ€™s have a look at the results of the podium positions for year 2007.

Everyone says the racing should be done on the track, the bonus being that the results are much harder to dispute than the politics are.
(But the excuses will come thick and fast I am sure). :roll:

WCC

1st Place : McLaren = 8 ------ Ferrari = 9
2nd Place : McLaren = 9 ------ Ferrari = 6
3rd Place : McLaren = 7 ------ Ferrari = 7

Summation = McLaren are better at being only SECOND best.

WDC

1st Place : Hamilton = 4 ---- Alonso = 4 ---- Raikkonen = 6 ---- Massa = 3
2nd Place : Hamilton = 5 ---- Alonso = 4 ---- Raikkonen = 2 ---- Massa = 4
3rd Place : Hamilton = 3 ---- Alonso = 4 ---- Raikkonen = 4 ---- Massa = 3

Summation = A McLaren driver is only better at being SECOND best.

Looks like on the track the right team was crowned WCC & WDC. - Justice I think :wink:

As we all know no one ever remembers who can second & I am sorry to say McLaren were just second best, where it really matter ON THE TRACK.

Ferrari left them all in their wake. :lol:

And it was all done with McLaren being exposed as cheats. The myth has ended :idea:

Don't worry there is always 2008 but, don't hold your breath.

and BTW Ferrari didnt win the constructors on track this year, McLaren ended the year with 218 to Ferrari 204!

But I must admit that the WCC will always have a :?:

with me because Ferrari inherited it. Should be a Non event.
But don't take this to mean that McLaren should have won it. NO they cheated, got caught & were rightfully punished.

The WDC is a complete different story and fully justified & deserved. :lol:

I am looking forward to 08 like never before. I think its going to be a cracker of a year on many fronts.

You got me wrong bud. I lost a bit of interest in F1 (very slightly) in the Schumacher era.
I like things when they are close & down to the wire.
