Her performance on Road courses hasnt been that great and her best results have come from ovals and Formula One doesnt have any ovals which is why i think she REALLY shouldnt come to Formula One UNLESS she improves her performance on tracks which have a few corners.

Let's face it; if Danica Patrick were ever to grace the F1 grid (in a F1 car) it would be a massive publicity stunt, she has made her intentions clear about entering F1!

More over... she could be good enough. Specially if she lands in a decent-ish car. Because in the bad cars, nobody will do well. Besides, if she's not able, i dont think a team will place her just to get publicity. But why not give the chance?

Question could be her fitness... and getting used to the F1 car, but c'mon, she should be able to learn...

.....and Dancia Patrick crosses the line 3 laps down in last place.

That's still better than what HRT and Virgin are doing... and sometimes Lotus...

Don't be stupid virgin/hrt and lotus are slow because they are now they won't be like that next season.

you could put Danica in the Red Bull and she'd still be 3 laps down as would most of the other indy car drivers below her in the standings.

They are just not good enough.

If she got an F1 drive it would be a total slap in the face of some of the truly capable (and proven) drivers like Franchitti and Power who race over there.

Well, yes. But they are doing that now.

We dont know if Danica would end 3 laps down on a RB. Maybe. If she does, then no need to bring her on. i dont think a team would bring her if she's that bad. Bu

 but that's a whole different issue.

Sorry guys, but thought i'd give this a bump as i was looking on youtube and found a video of Danica in FF and someone posted a hilarious comment;
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yahW3YrFYKM&NR=1

"Whether this shunt was her fault or not, we are now approaching I think her 14th or 15th year racing cars at various levels, and in that time she has amassed exactly one win.

That's only one more than me, and I'm not even trying."

:hehe:

I think a better view to take from that article is the mention of young Perez.

Great Gp2 driver, who I really hope gets a proper chance in F1 this year. By proper chance I mean not in a HRT. We haven't had a mexican drivers for ages, and even then we've had very few of them. But now we've got Perez who more than likely won't win Gp2 this year, but you could say deserves to because of the why he's turned around some awful luck at some weekends. As well as Gutierrez in Gp3, who's just 2 points away from becoming champion. Both Mexican, both potenial winners in F1, both backed by Telmex, both being watched closely in the F1 paddock. Guiterrez I believe is being lined up for Sauber. Believe me, watch these mexican spaces.
