what if you're just arguing for the sake of arguing when a layman knows it was Marks wing they took, a wing that he did actually use in practice that they put on Vettels car after he broke his own wing. SIMPLE FOR GODS SAKE :banghead:

Simple when you want it to be. Because MANY times drivers run stuff in practice that they dont even use... so its not just the case of this is your part and this is mine. The team ultimately decide who they are going to give whatever parts they think its best to whoever they want, like all teams do.

im not saying Red Bull didnt favor anyone. im only saying it happens all the time in different manners, and nobody makes much out of it.

So according to your reasoning McLaren would favor Hamilton. Its as simple as that. But you would call that favoritism? And why is that? BECAUSE YOU HAVE AN IRRATIONAL HATRED FOR VETTEL.

Heres the facts.
In 2009 Hamilton, at the german gp, was given the upgrade that they brought to the gp. It wasnt like Heikki was out of the championship mathematically and Heikki, i must say, after leaving McLaren did admit that he had not even been asked about the upgrades before they were given to Lewis.

"But they are being so cruel to Heikki, its like he isnt a part of the team" is not something i would have heard you say.

Well, to be fair, the two situations are different, because Lewis was given the upgrades as there was only one set at the time, whereas both Webber and Vettel got one of the new front wings but Vettel's broke so instead of having him run with the old one, Horner ordered that Webber's be removed and given to Vettel. The act of physically taking the upgrade away is what makes it cruel. Plus, McLaren were arguably more justified because Heikki never looked anything but ordinary in the sister McLaren, whereas Lewis was a proven winner - in stark contrast, there was very little to choose between Mark and Sebastian.

Clearly McLaren did favour Lewis, but it was technically justified. It would, however, have come across better if they and their fans had not been so defensive about it, but I guess they didn't want to hurt Heikki mentally by explaining "well, he's just not that good". Whereas Red Bull preach equality, but you'd have to be blind not to see their favouritism for Vettel and an idiot not to work out that there was no way he wasn't going to be the favoured son - even though in terms of talent, Webber is worth about 3 or 4 Vettels most of the time.

Well first of all Adrian Newey made the call for the wings to be changed. Second of all Heikki is also a proven winner, it may not be of a WDC but he is a proven winner. When they took the wing off Webber it was to put it on a car of someone who they thought would do a better job with it. Red Bull do preach equality, and it was clearly seen when Vettel was trying to overtake Webber! Did we hear Webber being told to ease of and let Vettel go past as we see with Ferrari? Yes after the incident, in a teams point of view, if Webber didnt make it hard (but legal) for Vettel to get past they would have had a whole lot of points in the bag which is clearly why Christian first blamed Webber, but the main point is that he took back the comment and said it was a 50/50 situation, which it was.

And please, as i have just said, favoritism is not a point that a McLaren fan can argue on as it is evident in McLaren itself.

The Holocaust didn't happen.

Completely untrue. Newey insisted it be used. Horner made the decision to take Webber's off and give it to Sebastian - even he himself has said this.

Bollocks. The incident was clearly, from the get-go, all Vettel's fault, and absolutely not Mark Webber's in any way. For someone who so readily tosses about the accusation of bias, you sure show a lot of it yourself.
And please, as i have just said, favoritism is not a point that a McLaren fan can argue on as it is evident in McLaren itself.

I'm not a McLaren fan, I'm a Jenson Button fan.

Last year i didnt watch Formula1 so often i saw few races. And according to things i read it isnt the same thing. And how can i have an irrational hatred for someone i havent met in my life?

You said Heikki is also a proved winner,he might be very good but not as good as Lewis.Webber is clearly better than Vettel,so taking a part in his car and giving it to Vettel who broke his car's part(he is given an award where he should be admonished) is so ridiculous. To talk about the crash,it was 100% Vettel's fault. If it was Webber who caused the crash,i'd still say the same thing.Vettel.I watched the crash again and it was Vettel who lost the control-or drive it on Webber. There was enogh place for him to overtake he didnt need to drive it so close to Webber.

I agree with Jensonb at many points, the thing McLaren did was something technically needed to be done but we cant say the same thing about Red Bull's.

Oh, you can. Especially in a sport where you support a certain team/individual.

Webber is clearly better than Vettel

Are you sure?
I would say right now they are pretty much levelled.

so taking a part in his car and giving it to Vettel who broke his car's part(he is given an award where he should be admonished) is so ridiculous.

He didn't broke his car's part.
The new front wing *failed*. It's very different.

Webber left him just the width of a car to get past; it's enough space, I guess. But they are also team-mates; for the interest of the team he should have closed slightly less than he did.
(But we talked about this crash far too much!)

I dont support them.I find them quite annoying. They are babying their dear Vettel and being unfair. But i appreciate their success. Its not an old team but very successful.I support Mark Webber because i think he deserves to be on top.

Actually.I dont support a team but my favorite is McLaren.

GO MCLAREN! :D

watch out red bull, Mclaren are coming for ya!!!!!!!

When you look at the statistics you can clearly see Webber is better

I thought it was a part in car.I mean the wing.

You are right about that.

I have no idea what's happened in the pages of this thread because I'm too lazy to read everything, but I support Mark Webber, and Christian Horner is a total dilf, although I'm not sure if he's a dad or not.

Yes, the wing failed.
But it wasn't Vettel that crashed making his front wing break.
It failed, so it wasn't Vettel's fault at all.
