FM did well.
IN THE WET!! :yikes:
Should shut up those people who made fun of him about his troubles in the wet.

He drove the car around the track and finished the race...everyone who didn't get caught up in an accident managed that.

FM plays it safety first when the track gets slippery, I remember at Spa in 2008 when Kimi was behind on lap 1, through Eau Rouge he just flashed past Massa who actually braked quite a lot for it. From there, you see Massa just taking it easy and finishing the race (winning it after Lewis was DSQ and Kimi crashed trying to win it).

He was lucky to finish 4th, thanks to competitors eliminating themselves (and others)

Massa is rubbish in the wet. But he will bring the car home.

Interlagos 2008..? Changeable conditions which required drivers to make a number of good calls and drive well in the wet. Massa won that one in style. Sure is rubbish in the wet...

I believe we are probably down to a two horse race barring Hamilton or Webber failing to finish any of the remaining six races for the likes of Vettel, Button or Alonso to stand a chance of winning the WDC.

Would you say that if the gap from Hamilton to Vettel was 12 points and we were still using the old points system?

Honestly, 12 points in 6 races is absolutely nothing. Especially with 5 drivers battling for the WDC. They can steal an awful amount of points off each other.

Well, LH didn't and ended up going on an agricultural excursion and was very fortunate to have gotten back on track :P

I had this posted on the 2010 Italian GP thread.

So basically the top 8 have a prayer for the WDC but essentially given the current car situation the top 5 have any *real* chance. I'd say two more out of the points finish for anyone but Lewis and Webber and it's look forward to 2011 time.

What the hell kind of farmer are YOU? Unless you're cultivating weeds, no one plants anything in gravel. :D

What about Petrov? :wavey:

Yes; Vitaly Petrov did well to secure a top 10 finish from the back row; although saying that he did have the second fastest car on the day, his team mate would have been second if it wasn't for missing his pit box quite badly, Tonio Luizzi did well too given that he had been chopped by Vettel!

Hamilton drove an impressive race. Great starts have become his hallmark. Quite the thrill when he slid off the tarmac and into the gravel traps so late in the race. I thought it might tighten the results and put the finish in question but no such luck.

When talking about the start; Jenson Button has to be credited; he had a fantastic start; fifth to second in a few corners, shame he must have had some sort of contact as his front wing was damaged which allowed Vettel to get close enough to crash into him.
