oaba- Vettel may have made a mistake but it was patently obvious that traction was the true issue that caused him to hit Button. Reading others comments you would think that he simply turned into him.

The fact is, this isn't the 1st time he made a mistake that cost another driver...He's making mistakes that shouldn't be made by top drivers.....

So we ignore he traction issue and simply put 100% of the blame on Vettel and make it sound like he just turned into Button. Thanks for proving what I said originally to be correct.

Sweeeeeet!!!

Shame about button though. Superb drive and without question, the drive of the race. Well done Lewis and McLaren

If he hadn't of miss judged the braking zone he wouldn't of had such a problem with traction. Thus his mistake, hense he got a drive through penalty.Something that was judged by a former formula one driver in Nigel Mansell, someone I think you will agree knows more about racing than we do.

What caused him to lose traction in the 1st place?

He was too aggressive and he forced the issue. He may not have wanted to hit Button's car but the fact remains that by making a mistake, he ruined another driver's race...

The fact that he was given a penalty just proves that he made a mistake...

My initial comment was not an "angry, defensive comment" (note the usage of the comma) it was a simple statement of fact, which I have already explained. perhaps English isn't your first language since you clearly don't understand it.

On another note nice job constantly changing tacts in order to avoid the things I am calling you out for. It's pretty pathetic actually and just makes me realize that I won't get any intelligent discussion talking to you, so I am done with you. Enjoy your badly needed last word.

English is my first language and you didn't explain anything you replied to angry remarks with an angry defensive remark as you clearly feel Vettel was either innocent or shouldn't be blamed for the accident, or maybe you just didn't like the fact people were bashing your favourite driver?

Whatever the case you claimed i could not see what happened during the accident which was not true and i clearly explained what i believe caused the accident which is something you haven't even attempted to refute and instead just insulted me.

Again what do you believe happened to cause the accident and also do you think it was Vettel's fault?

Nevermind, I just saw who you list as your favorite team and favorite driver, so their is no way you will ever look at the incident objectively.

P.S.- Just because someone is a former driver does not mean they are 100% objective and are an expert on that incident.

So are you saying that Vettel didn't make a mistake? Are you saying that he wasn't too aggressive?

Please discuss the race events without resorting to personal insults folks.

I think today we established who the two main title contenders are....

Although i want Hamilton to win the Championship and wish Button was there on the podium i am happy to see that podium 3 great drivers there.

Webber annoyed me at the beginning of the year but lately he's been just class, I hope it will be between him and Lewis because I wouldn't stand watching Vettel win after so many brainless mistakes and bad driving, he really does not deserve it.

One of the best races of the season though, rain RULES :D

Can't help thinking that there'll be a few grid penalties to absorb for Monza. Certainly Vettel and Alonso will be more than a little nervous at the moment. Any thought's out there?

Good drives by Schumacher and especially Petrov to get in the points today too.

Hmmm, just watched the incident again...water on the camera. I wonder if their was also water on the track and if so, maybe, just maybe, that might have caused the spin. Oh, wait a McLaren boy was the one knocked out so it has to be completely the opposing drivers fault.

So he didn't make a mistake? Why was he given a penalty then? It's funny because you were complaining about peng's sarcastic remarks earlier and now you're doing the same thing.... :hehe:
