It's not about proof, it's about mud sticking! Red Bull have managed the situation exceptionally badly and that has caused the public and press' perceived favouritism towards Vettel. I'm personally inclined to think that Vettel was favoured before Mark clearly asserted himself with back to back wins and a few well timed comments, Mark comments indicate to me that he believes Vettel was being favoured hence his "not bad for a no.2 driver" comments when he won the British GP!

ah cmon, Mark was having a laugh. But anyway, when he said that, he almost certain meant it from the wing episode. On several occasions he's said he doesnt feel the favouritism and that he wouldnt put up with it. So i guess what the press says or wants to convey means very little.

I think its mostly the issue of Red Bull having some problems at handling the situation (wing and crash)... guess it happens. But the Turkey crash was VERY VERY poor from both drivers.

I don't think it's the press, most hardened F1 fans who watch all the live interviews and make up their own mind, of course part of it will be the press spin which more casual fans will believe but a lot of fans will have seen the interviews with Vettel, Webber, Marko and Horner and made up their own mind. I believe something different from you, so let's agree to disagree on this one, doesn't mean that either of us is wrong!

Why cant anyone take something at face value? Vettel thought he had passed Webber which is why he moved over and they made contact. Webber was initially blamed but they took it back after hearing both sides of the story. Only Helmut Marko claimed it was Webber's fault but of course he will be biased since he is a vital part of the young drivers program.

Elfinitty Honestly how on earth can you say Alonso's favoritism is not as strong as the one given to Vettel. Not once have RedBull told Webber to let Vettel past when they very well could have.

The wing issue was common sense. They wanted to give the fastest car to their fastest driver.

And Hamilton was given preferential treatment for the past two years while he was teamed up with Heikki. A prime example was at the German GP last year when Lewis was given all the new parts and Heikki wasnt, and wasnt that Heikki was mathematically out of the title race.

I still believe in what i said. You guys might think like that and you may be right but what seems to me and things happening in teams arent like what you say.

I'm for McLaren Mercedes, my girlfriend is for Ferrari, but we both hate Redbull.

 Ahhhh hate... such a powerful bond........:)
My wife hates when Ferrari loses out or does terribly poorly... but only because she says I'm moody all day after that :hehe::)

I support Red Bull Racing,

I think it is astonishing that a soft drink maker can compete with huge car manufactures.

They are effectively running 2 teams RBR and Toro Rosso.

They are developing young drivers on both teams.

And Coulthard is still listed as a test driver.

They have a very good shot at winning the title this year!

Now what's that got to do with it? I laughed as you could say the same thing for the old Benetton team.

Red Bull bring the cash in, the people they've hired could and have built a car to rival the constructors, but all it takes to have the same resources as a constructor is cash, which Red Bull have in surplus.

The advantage that Red Bull have is Adrian Newey; everywhere he goes; success follows; just look at McLaren's dip in form after he left; big money buys that sort of talent!!!

The big money is good to bring the big talents like Newey... but without the team mentality and management to use all this talent and turn it into a better racing team, it doesnt work. Toyota and Honda failed, because its not just the big money... while Red Bull, Renault and Force India is/have made/are making it work.

McLarens dip in form happened while he was there thinking of Yachts! Like from 02 03 04 while in 05 he was not there but his Zero Keel innovation was on the McLaren and that year had the fastest yet fragile car, sound similar to Redbull's RB6? 06 McLaren were caught out by the tyre rules reverting back to sprint tyres, and ofcourse 07,08 great form, 09 pegged it back. McLaren did alright without him i reckon.

On Redbull seeing as Webber is there most Aussie F1 fans who support Webber go for Redbull, but its like any Driver fans, they will go for the driver and which ever team he is in.
