Ferrari looked pretty much like Turkey... maybe the tracks have some similar set up features or was it all bout the weather?

I think it was mostly down to the weather.
For Q3 Alonso had only one set of fresh soft tyres, which the team and him decided to use in the last run.
So in the first lap he was on used tyres and when he put on fresh tyres it was raining. That was a bit bad luck, although he shouldn't have made that error on the first run.

yeh gona be real great tomorrow, but a great qualy today actualy better than the standard top teams coasting through.

16th and 17th for lotus is brilliant ( thanks to glocks penalty ). so great job by lotus this weekend .

13th and 15th actually now i think after rosberg and schumacher's penalties!

Antonio Lobato is reporting that Mclaren are having trouble providing fuel samples...

its not being reported anyone where that i have seen maybe i am missing it. any chance of a link ?

In spanish, of course. He later said that Mclaren did pass scrutineering, though they had to 'squeeze' the car to get the fuel sample...

Yeah, it's so much easier to squeeze something that flexes.

To use my phone in the car I deleted all my German contacts, it's now Hans free.

Like to see one of the minnow teams pick up a few points. Maybe tomorrow could see the attrition (given the inevitable rain) required for it to happen.

I think the formula for success changes on a constant basis

I tried the local weather forcast for spa (the town) and it's raining atm. Mind you, this is spa we are talking about not the actual race track and the weather conditions are so unpredictable in the Ardenne Valley.

and sorry for my ignorance but would someone please explain to me why Buemi got a three-place penalty for impeding Rosberg, But Glock got a five-place penalty for impeding Yamamoto ?
