And back to Red Bull it isnt the fact that Vettel is a Red Bull protege that annoys people, its the favouritism he is now receiving. Fine to have a young drivers scheme, but when they get to F1 they should manage without favours. Its Red Bull that is showing favouritism so no need to digress to other teams who arent doing so.

Nope. Its been shown over and over again, lots of people dislike the fact that he's a protege. And that because of that he's getting some sort of preferntial treatment. Disregarding the facts that... there is no such preferential treatment.

F1ea...

You seem to be going around different threads saying Lewis is the loved child of this forum and he is actually favoured by McLaren even now. Is this what you're hinting at?

Do you really think McLaren are giving him more effort than they are giving Jenson now?

If they were Jenson would walk, he's said so.

Would you like to enlighten us on what this favoritism is?

Its not the front wing switch which was completely justified, Turkey? nah because they took their comments back. So what are you on about?

I think McLaren dont favoritism Lewis,or if they do its not as much as RBR favoritism Vettel.
Ferrari seems to favoritism Alonso but once again, not as much as RBR.

This is how RBR thinks
Crash in Turkey:Not Vettel's fault,it might be but we shouldnt make our golden boy sad
Silverstone:Mark won the race lets conciliate him, thats what he needs.

The reality

Crash in Turkey:Major of people including other teams think its Vettel's fault.
Silverstone:They couldnt conciliate him.By doing that they cant even conciliate a kid

Are you joking?
I would never dream of saying that and I support Ferrari!

Thats what seems to me.They showed that they favoritism him in one occasion but RBR always shows they favoritism Vettel.

yeah, I mean.. there was some controversy at Silverstone for the front wing, but I would say Webber winning that race put things right back in place.

It might not seem to you like that but everyone can comment construe a behavior differently. What seems to me is RBR favorisms Vettel so clearly but i even didnt recognize that Ferrari favorism Alonso until Germany GP.

I know.. but why do you say RBR favourisms Vettel that much?

I'll let elfinitty answer for herself but my take on this is that it all stems from Vettel's ill-advised manoeuvre at Turkey and his and the team's behaviour afterwards. Every move by the team, before and after the incident, was scrutinised for favouritism towards Vettel and, with that slant, any slight appearance of bias was put forward as evidence.

It's hard to prove favouritism at the best of times, Red Bull have a definite slant towards Vettel IMO, the Turkey incident and Silverstone wing change incident does seem to indicate that. The Turkey incident was frankly a shambles, blaming Webber was clearly bullsh*t, Webber gave enough room to Vettel; Mark didn't move, Sebastian tried to force the issue and it backfired. The immediate reactions from Helmut Marko and Christian Horner and subsequent back tracking is another indicator of favouritism!

Hmmmm still dont see where is Red Bull favoring Vettel. Clearly when Vettel made the move in Turkey everyone on the pit was simply hoping for a no contact... Perhaps they really did think Mark should have moved rather than said he was at fault. I think he should have avoided the contact once Vettel was side by side.

Anything else, i really dont see anything... except the wing. but we'd have to know what really went on, and we dont. Maybe the story about Mark not wanting it was true, maybe it wasnt. But anyway, Red Bull has an intensive young driver programme and everything Vettel has gotten, most if not all, the other drivers in RB's program are getting as well.

I really dont think Red Bull favour vettel any more than all teams favor their drivers.

By the way.. its very good that Mark is finally getting some overdue good results in a good car. It kinda gets heads thinking straight to know many drivers go unknown because they drive crap cars.

It's not about proof, it's about mud sticking! Red Bull have managed the situation exceptionally badly and that has caused the public and press' perceived favouritism towards Vettel. I'm personally inclined to think that Vettel was favoured before Mark clearly asserted himself with back to back wins and a few well timed comments, Mark comments indicate to me that he believes Vettel was being favoured hence his "not bad for a no.2 driver" comments when he won the British GP!
