Read moreDonnington is operational again! I was always against moving the GP to Donnington and the time frame Gillet gave was ridiculous-was never gonna happen, but to destroy that circuit was a travesty. They lost the moto GP and Wheatcroft snr died (who knows if all tha hasstle contributerd).
Well now its fixed
A new construction company fixed it and theres a slight improvement to the track at the end of the pit staight, making it longer. The new company have since decided that actually running the track is not for them and have handed everything back to Wheatcroft jnr, who is delighted with the work thats been done. There has already been racing(motorbikes I think) and its been given a resounding thumbs up.
