I think he will struggle because Renault have already said that they are building the team around RK

so? i'm sure he'd expect a difficult challenge. So far Renault are building around Kubica because he's contracted and doing a good job. Whoever comes in and does the same, will get the team behind him as well. if i were Glock i'd jump into the Renault at the first hint...

in fact, thinking about it... Petrov has caused much more of an impression (this season) than Glock has!

Ahh... but it depends on the gods how long his purgatory period lasts ;)

I can see the Renault team remaining unchanged next season if Petrov can keep showing the sort of performance he showed in Hungary. There doesn't seem to be many options for next year for Glock really, most of the top drives are signed and sealed, I believe if he does move it'll be to a lower order team!

I suppose it will depend also on if Glock still believes that Virgin can do what they promised.

What did Virgin promise? I can't see them being a podium team next season, they'll make progress, maybe scraping into the points but can't see them challenging for podiums!

Dad's annoyed at Virgin's lack of performance this year. He says I fund the Virgin team for paying them for my broadband and then they do crap! :hehe:

 Lower than Virgin?? !!

Yeah, he has already agreed to pay all the money he earned this year to HRT for a drive in 2011!

Tbh, if he saved some of his wages up, he'd probably be able to buy himself a drive in HRT.

Not sure he'll be better than Kubica, and with Petrov stepping up he might not go there at all.

What about a possible comeback by Raikkonen in Renault, though?

Doubt it... but who knows. Hope so! Might be an interesting challenge for Kimi.
Kubica and Kimi would be a tremendous lineup.

Wow... that sounds lame (to happen to a driver) even as a joke. And the irony is that Virgin could well dump him for a pay driver :yikes:

Raikkonen has already decided to stay in WRC for another year, so no F1 return for Raikkonen!
