Just remember Webber couldn't do any better when he was stuck behind Alonso.

In fact Webber has also found it hard to overtake this year as well. Vettel can overtake. The proof is in his result at the 2008 Monaco Grand Prix. He started on the back row and finished 5th. Still no one knows how he did it. All the coverage of the race was focussed on Hamilton. At the time I would've sworn he skipped a lap.

Vettel wants to win, he may be overconfident - but look at his past record. I can only hope for the best for him. I would still be happy if either of them won the championship this year.

Maybe not as good as Hamilton or Alonso at overtaking... but he's ok.

Vettel has done quite enough already this year to be annoying. No wonder that even the team tells him not to do anything stupid. Next Schumacher? He certainly seems to be stepping on the same path. Good for him is that he has Michael around now to teach some of the lessons But basically Vettel doesn`t interest me that much. The more he does, the better it is for the publicity, more controversities means more stories to write. Atleast we got something to talk about over the summer-break...

Never seen Vettel as an 'overtaker' but I think he did a pretty good job in Silverstone coming from the back. He was flying past cars and even managed to overtake the deadly Michael Schumacher without any contact! Credit where it's due, but of course any driver would prefer to win from the front of the grid.

Now you guys are just ganging up on him. Almost every time Webber is top 3 and they are in the room before they go out on to the podium you hear Webber cursing and cussing about his start or his battle with said driver.

The whole point of the Sunday race is to race and overtake being fast in a race doesn't mean anything if your stuck behind another car unable to pass which is one of Vettel's critical weakpoints currently and he needs to improve or he doesn't deserve a World Championship.

The fastest driver he has overtaken is Sutil and he only managed that at Silverstone because Sutil made a mistake and let Vettel pass, i wouldn't even class Schumacher as a hard person to pass this season because he cant seem to drive the car he is in and he has probably been overtaken the most so far this entire season.

Ive never sung his praises and im glad people are seeing what he's like with a good car, because now we can all see he's utterly usless unless starting from pole and having no competition in the race. He's had what 7 pole positions this season and hasnt won from any of them? How many werent his fault, 2 ?

He cannot defend when under pressure, his race starts are amateur, he cannot overtake at all, his attitude is spoilt. All i can give him in praise is that hes a very very quick driver, but that gets you nowhere alone.

Well, there are some decentish claims there... the same as what everybody is saying...
so he's better when starting from pole and so on. Well...... guess it happens. So far, i think he's VERY fast and has had a bit of poor luck and maybe concentration lapses... Not that he's the worst driver or useless, but def not the best. No reason to get "annoyed" by him though....
