Ok so I hope this is the right subject as it kind-of is an F1 matter. If not however feel free to move it (mods).

The question is . . . who to support this year?! As a Honda man I'm left with a rather bitter after-taste from them quitting like a bunch of . . . well . . . quitters! So now who replace them with?! Please don't say the red cars though, I just can't bring myself to do it!

Lotus seem to have my support this year after, Brawn had it last year.

Lewis Hamilton

I agree  He has always been the best since he has came to f1

I concur. There really is no other worth supporting. Unless Kimi makes a comeback. :drink:

Could I make the point that its not just about supporting the "best"?

Fair enough. But it's a good option to really enjoy the races.

Simple is beautiful.

Glad to see we're in agreement though. The truth is finally rubbing off.

Dunno, qualis a bit boring with redbull always being on top. Whereas wondering if Force India will get into q3 is pretty interest

hmmm
Just watch F1 for a couple of races... you'll find you'll start to like some drivers/teams better than others... or that you will see a team or performance that will catch your attention....

You may not even need to be a fan of anyone... just cheer for whoever is doing something interesting to watch. Like Kobayashi in Valencia... and Petrov in hungary. And Kubica in Monaco...... or even the Red bull guys. Mark did a fantastic race in Hungary, playing perfectly with the somewhat limited strategy options... Alonso had a very interesting run in the race where he blew the engine... and in Monaco etc

Or if you have a Merc in your garage... be a merc fan. Why not?

Before you know it you'll be a fan of someone.

Take a rookie or relatively new driver you like and think/hope may have a long F1 career. Or go with your nationality for team/driver.

Oh I dont support the best car...just the best 'team'. WHich is McLaren, and their star driver. At this moment they do not necessarily have the best car, but it is pretty interesting to watch them play catch up because they do it well! :drink:
