i strongly recommend going to monaco, even if not to see the grand prix, because its just incredible and i also recommend Nice too, because thats great too (sorry for going slightly off topic)

My favourites are Silverstone and Montreal.

The ones i dont like are Valencia and Bahrain.

Monaco i am undecided, it is a great setting and a great track but qualifying is about as good as it gets as the race is just follow until someone makes a mistake, some races elsewhere are like that though since we only have one tyre provider, so want FIA to bring back two or three tyre providers.

i will have to disagree with bernie!, hes a great man but sometimes he is a bit annoying!, apprantley he has told a sao paulo newspaper that unless interlargos upgrades then the race will be dropped! this is just total nonsense!!, the charm of the circuit is its ''older'' feel and the crowd is great, the track is great, the race is great!¬!!, much better than some new rubbish like abu dhabi!!!

It's ok, he's only using it to force them to upgrade facilities.

I wouldn't be so sure. Bernie's nutsy. Thus, unpredictable. He DID drop Montreal, after all.

Not that easy to say a specific one, so a list seems easier.
The favourite ones:
Spa - No comments needed
Silverstone - Another great track with long history
Suzuka - Another good one
Magny-Cours - Haven`t seen ppl posting of it here, but despite the fact that it used to be difficult to overtake there, the layout itself for me seems great and I also happened to be there
Montreal - A good one
Monaco - Don`t know what to say, I just like it; though the races usually turn out to be just formal processions, but we had some accidents this year and HRT`s picked up steering wheels thrown by Rubens so there was something to be watching there; 8-)
Catalunya-Barcelona or whats its name anyway - Has some fast turns, but for me it got spoilt with that new chicane that improved nothing...Still ok.

The boring ones:
Bahrain - Pretty much boring; the new section just extended the already bad track and turned it into a worse track than before
Valencia - Sorry Bernie, but you were wrong. This is not the best track in the world. Maybe it s from your perspective, or used to before the race in '08, but the layout is no good, and the only fun in races has so far been when Webber drank too much Red Bull cans during the race and got wings ;)
Abu Dhabi - the surrounding stuff really looked impressive. From daylight to darkness, spectacular buildings etc...But the layout iself doesn`t seem too good; overtaking wasn`t really possible last year and at some parts its just like a street circuit.

The rest for me are just circuits there where they happen to race or atleast pretend to race in places like Hungaroring, but hey, we saw atleast 1 succesful overtaking so wasn`t that bad after all.

Bernie's prime concern is Bernie. Or at least his bank balance. There's got to be a financial angle here. Kickback from the upgraded concessions?

For me:

Like: Spa, Barcelona, Suzuka, Istanbul, Hungaroring. I like the Adelaide Street Circuit and the Gold Coast Indy Track too.

Dislike: Bahrain, Melbourne, Monza, and the Short Nurburgring Course.

Circuits I was glad to see go: Magny Coours, Indiannapolis, Fuji. :wavey:

I am undecided on Valencia, because I have never watched a single lap of it. I always miss it, or sleep through it, forgetting to wake up. It sounds like an exciting circuit, because there have bee some interesting results there in the past couple of years. But it looks like everyone else hates it. :P

Wow this thread has grown in size since I went on holiday!

In terms of non F1 tracks I think Laguna Seca is fantastic. I'm watching the top gear when Jeremy tries to beat his time in real life from what he did on gran turismo 4. Remembered how good Laguna Seca is.

They will definately have to upgrade the lack of facilities if it ever was to be an F1 track. Mind you it won't be one anyway because the f1 cars will just rim and scrape the bottom round the corkscrew.
