Mark Webber used to be thought of as the unluckist driver before the 2010 season. I think Nick Heidfeld must rate even unluckier than Mark. Nick isn't even given race starts. He is a reserve driver for Mercedes in 2010. He had podium finishes with BMW but no wins.

Given Schumacher's performances; I think Mercedes would have been better off employing Nick Heidfeld as a race driver, at least he was a current driver unlike Schumacher!

I'm happy that Mark Webber has lost his unluckiest driver tag; he has worked so hard for very little reward in the past!

Karun Chandhok, no contest.

Heidfeld has been faster than his teammate most of the time and now for reward he's a test driver, really sucks for him. I also like the guy, dunno why no one recruits him

None of them are unlucky, how many young drivers never make it to F1,and not because lack of talent, sponsorship and luck determines their future,Chandok doesn,t even come close to being unlucky.

OK, "unlucky" is a relative term in this instance but any No. 2 driver has got to be the unluckiest. Every driver is in this to win and if you've fought (or paid) your way into getting there it's got to be the worst possible luck to know that you're not going to be allowed to win.

+1!! I am shocked a driver of his calibre is on the test bench and we have a few pretend drivers (delarosa should be testing and NOT racing) racing on the grid today. Big shame really.

Well actually, De Le Rosa has put in some solid performances recently

It's hard to judge either sauber driver lets be honest. For all we know, you could put someone like Heidfeld in the sauber and it would suddenly become a regular points scorer. They could both be either doing god job, or both being doing a poor one.

Vettel you'd have to say has been pretty damn unlucky this year. Failure at Bahrain lost him a win. Failure in Australia lost him a 2nd win. Failure in Spain lost him 2nd place. Silverstone he could have salvaged 2nd, if weren't for a puncture. Hungary, well you could debate who was at fault there really. Either way, point is Vettel could be doing so much better than he is.

Rubens, he is always the bridesmaid and never the bride when it comes to championship time

he wasn't a number two driver in Brawn, don't know why people feel so sorry for him, he had a perfect opportunity in 2009.
