That was interesting Bulletproof! Suprised at JB, not how comes across, but they must be under great pressure all the time! What was Ptquet like?...apart fom the sunglasses-I still feel sorry for him,(it was probably written in to his contract-thou shalt crash when requested!!). I saw him at the inaugral A1 GP at Brands Hatch-he looked really friendly, waving at the crowds lots....and he is cute

Ohh.. BTW I met Alguersuari on the Red Bull F1 beach drive some month or two ago.... it was super nice cause it was a nice and low profile promo event. There was not much people, and everyone was at hand's distance from the car, the mechanics, the drivers etc

What? Please tell me more!

he he
Ok, from what I could see, he's very soft spoken and excited with his job in F1. He acts and looks young... never really acted like "the man of the hour" but rather enjoying the moment, but i guess it was more related to the event itself. It was all pretty relaxed and all about fun. He took time to talk and have fun with us who were there, but of course, since there was no "mobbing" or people rushing for autographs he remained quite easy about it all... i asked if he thought Vettel was going to win the WDC, he said yes. hehe

I didnt bring a proper camera, because the event caught me by surprise, there was no mention of RB doing this demonstration... but for video and more photos about the event, see here:

Thank you for the story. I feel like such a creep but mmmm he's so cute :3
I saw a video of him signing autographs or whatever and he seemed miserable, so this is reassuring. Maybe he's just crazy and rushed while under pressure.

Ha ha
My wife thinks the same! she says she's still undecided on Jaime or Sutil for boyfriend... it used to be Alonso but she says he doesnt win 'that much' anymore :irked: so if she's going to have a losing bf better be a cute one...

But yeah like i said, this whole event was very relaxed and fun. So he was in a good mood and just enjoying the moment.

Your wife has such good taste. Sutil is so sophisticated. A lot of people think he's homosexual but I really don't think he is, and I have pretty good gaydar, not to be arrogant. He's just extremely neat and classy.

Damon Hill. Silverstone 1996. Spoke to a group of us who were hanging out behind the Williams pit area (when you could go to the inside part of the track) We were behind a big fence but knew Damon wa in ther and he came out, signed autographs, was really nice.

Interesting that you found him a nice guy. Was skiing in Villars quite a few years ago now. There is a train that runs from the slopes back to the resort acommodation, with a stop along the way. Train stops with us already on, group of people get on and stand at the far end of our carriage. One guy looks just like Damon Hill and point him out to the rest of our group. After more gawping realise that it is in fact the man himself. Anyway, train stops at our destination and we all get off. Hill and as it turns out his wife walk past the door I am getting out of. Couldnt resist so said Hi Damon. He glanced over, sort of nodded and then hurriedly walked on as if he had been caught by the paparazzi!
Fine I thought, guess you are on your skiing holiday and don't want to get noticed. Went back to the ski hire shop to drop off our equipment and lo and behold he was in there with the wife dropping off his hire gear as well! They were both huddled up in the change room, again trying not to get noticed I guess so left them to it.
Turned out he was there for Villeneuve jnr's annual charity skiing event. Never got to see Villeneuve on the slopes unfortunately.

:( Oh thats a shame. He spoke to us for quite a while, but maybe he was geared up for it at the GP.

Met, or at least said a quick hello to a bunch of guys last year. Timo Glock was a top lad, happy to have a chat. Same for Eddie Irvine, we were in the VIP bit and sat and talked to him for a good 15 minutes - he has an odd demeanour but was still sound. I spoke to Sato only very very briefly but he came across like a total legend! Nakajima is the other one i met there, struck me as being a bit of a bellend though. Said hello in passing to loads of other guys in passing but that was really it. McNish, Webber, Hamilton, Jackie Stewart for example.

I was flying Kingfisher Airlines and was quite fortunate to have Adrian Sutil in the same flight. I had the privilege of talking to him for sometime after the flight landed at Bangalore airport, it was just like a dream come true. Never had I expected of meeting a Formula 1 driver face to face.

To say I met Innes Ireland would be to guild the lily somewhat, but I was in the bar at a Brands Hatch meeting many moons ago, having a swift half with a pal, and noticed the old boy stood a few feet away downing a couple G&T's before the race he was competing in that day.....
