The truth about Fernando Alonso on track - He ain't close to as good as he thinks he is. But he's good.
Damn, it's true.
Spot on!
The truth about Lewis: he ain't half as good as he SAYS he is. And not even close to what his fanclub claim him to be. But he's ok.
Bullseye!
Nailed it! What other driver has claimed he is better than Senna? Oh and to those too lazy to do a google search on their own....here ya go.
"I know I am as good as Ayrton Senna" apparently stunning even seasoned British journalists present (though presumably not Peter Windsor) "don't you know I'm the best?"
I belive he denyed saying that.
“I would never say I was better than anyone else," Hamilton insisted on his personal website, "But I am an F1 driver and all of us have to believe in ourselves to get to where we are.
"You have to have that belief to go out and win, and that's what helps you strive for better performance and to achieve more in your life. I look at the other drivers and I want to beat them - [but] I would never say ‘I'm better than you'. I just think that all these guys are the best and, to be the best, I have to beat them. That's how every racing driver sees things.”
So get your facts straight Xbox boy
Heya Rabbit, good to hear from you again.
As to Hamilton saying it, then claiming he didn't...that is exactly what happened with the stewards isn't it? He told them a story which was absolutely false. Then they played him the audio tape of his own voice over the radio proving he was lying...
and he still denied it. Then they set another meeting in the future so he could collect himself and get some advice from McLaren's council....and then he admitted that the team made him do it. He would never say he is better than anyone else? What about the 'monkeys at the back' speech of his? Oh, I'm quite certain he denied everything on his personal website....not that his denial means anything at all. That much has been proven without question.
