What's wrong with taking a break during the off-season?

A month without F1 while salivating at the thought of Spa is arcane, they're a little too spoiled IMHO.

Cheers

Look at the hours they work on race weekends, Paffat flying back overnight and working to the early hours of the morning on the simulator for example.

The long break gives the teams that interpret the regulations subjectively opportunity to gain greater advantage over those that interpret them punctiliously. And much of Europe are on holiday the month of August. If they're going to have a break it would be better positioned while the races are in Asia or the Americas.

I planned ahead, I'm sunning & funning next week. Now what am I going to do the other 3 weeks?!?!

What they should have done is put the world cup on during the four week F1 gap; that would have worked perfectly :D

You are lucky. When i was on holiday there was 2 GPs.I watched Germany GP but i missed the Hungarian GP.I will have a lot of spare time in August and no Formula 1?What will I do then? And when they will be showing GPs in fall,i might miss several GPs when my tests will start. So great! :( Why dont they give the break in July, when most people are having holiday plans!?
