It's hard to tell this early on in the season and especially now with the added complexity of Ferrari's resurgence, I think it will boil down to Red Bull's execution or McLaren's perseverance as to which driver will win the WDC..

At this point I'm predicting either Vettle or Lewis as the 2010 champion whichever one does win will have about 245 points.

Vettel, although I'd love to see Webber, Hamilton or even Alonso sneak past him at the wire. RB seem to have got over their unreliability and internecine difficulties, though, and Vettel will be hard to stop.

Considering Vettel and Webber are dead equal on points and Horner says he is totally against team orders I can't wait to see how this unfolds come the end of the season, could be quite intresting if they stay so close to one another ponts wise towards the end of the season.

McLaren have a slim lead but that won't hold long. Hamilton's lead could even be gone this round. The only way I can see Button or Hamilton winning for McLaren is if Red Bull have some bad luck. I dont think Alonso will win it even if the Ferrari car improves.

The title fight is basically Team Webber V Team Vettel

There's still a long way to go really. I do think a lot now depends on what happens with these front wings that everyone has suddenly started caring about.

I can easily see this still being a 4 way fight when there's only a couple of rounds left, say at Suzuka.

Come on go out on a limb and guess at a points score for the winner!

Errrr... 267?! A complete guess. I still haven't gotten used to this new system really, and haven't even paid too much attention to what's been going on so far in terms of who has how many points... maybe after Monza.

Speed TV brought up an interesting tidbit: even at this stage of the season and given the point system, no driver has been mathematically eliminated from the title yet. And the only driver who could start doing so this weekend is LH.

can't wait til McLaren does to the rest of the grid what everyone else did to Mclaren the next round...

Now that the F-Duct is on every car...Can't wait to see McLaren unveil their version of the Flexi-wing! Jenson and Lewis have been great thus far despite the fact they have a huge disadvantage going into high-speed/low-speed corners

Yeah quick numbers, if Lewis wins (unlikely) everyone from 16th place on down is eliminated, with Petrov and Buemi only able to achieve a tie. So only 13 drivers mathematically left that would be able to contend.

Thats is one hell of a hard question at the moment. If it stayed like it is now I could see.Red bull then ferrari then McLaren in the constructers.Ferrari on a charge but not enough to catch Red Bull and surely McLarens luck has to run out soon with a slightly inferrior car.

But with improvements I think Red Bull will win ,McLaren will just hold off Ferrari for second.

Drivers wise Vettell all the way for me,he just seems to have that slight edge in quali over Webber when it matters.Surely soon he has to start getting off the line better.

Would love to know the stats for Vettel's starts,ie how many places he gains losses before the first corner,my guess is its terrible. Not just this season but it's always seemed bad to me,unless i pick up on the few he does have.

That said still think he will come out on top with Webber second. With a tough tussle for third between Lewis and the Mr2timesfixedwins.

With a few points for Lotus, although thats just wishfull thinking 8-)

Dont forget the next 2 rounds at Spa and especially monza should suit the Mclaren....

Suit them enough to make up 1.5 secs? And that's just to catch Ferrari...

The gap gets eaten up from both ends. Suiting McLaren means it won't suit other cars hence it's why you've seen the gap be 3 tenths or less in certain circuits this year.
