Pretty dissapointing this time around by McLaren. As a McLaren & Lewis fan, it really looked like they knew what they were doing, and then this ultra frustrating reliability monster had to pop up, robbing Lewis of another easy 15 points. They better get their collective arse working during this 3 week break, forced break or not, dig up a freakin hole in the ground and work your arse off.

Not sure the break will help as they have to shut down and cannot work on cars after unwrapping them when they get back from Budapest.

Isn't it a four week gap but the factory only has to be closed for two of them?

It's 4 weeks, not sure how many weeks the 'no working' agenda is for though.

Hungary 01/08/2010
Belgium 29/08/2010

I think the teams pick which two weeks they're shut for

You just said you weren't sure!

McLaren will be more competitive at the next two tracks anyway. Singapore after that though...

Haha! Sorry in McLarens post I saw just the dates and was thinkin why is this guy telling me when the races are?? :hehe: Well, McLaren are in some trouble from now. They could challenge in Spa and Monza, Lewis better win at least one of them.

LOL I thought the same thing.... at least show us the camera color! I knew from the start of the race that the vibration would come back to haunt him. I almost didn't even react when the finally said it was Lewis' car.

Really hope they can manage to figure out what they are missing and catch up but sadly i am expecting them to just fall too far behind, even with the Hungary track being close to perfect for the Red Bull car Mclaren will need some amazing upgrade to catch them at this point.

But as it has been all season this is Red Bulls championship to lose so any of the top 5 could win if Red Bull continue making mistakes.

The 2 McLaren drivers have already won the championship so has Alonso, Webber winning the championship would mean so much to this country

Webber's got to match his teammate first. Vettel isn't going to roll over after this, and neither is Lewis and Alonso. Spa and Monza are going to be 2 mega races which could determine the final swing in the Championship. Webber's a good guy and I was glad he won the race today out of the top 3 drivers but he doesn't have that killer edge I see in the other two. Vettel for his speed, Alonso for his tenacity.
