You can bet the teams are working as hard as ever, especially as they're in a very tight title battle. It's just that in McLaren's case last year, the car was a dog so it was easier for them to find huge chunks off time, which might give off the impression to some that they were working harder last season.

Ferrari and Red Bull are not standing still either. We've got a 3 way horse race now and McLaren at this point is the 3 horse.

i dont think you cant read to much into mclaren's performance at hockenheim as they have confirmed a few times, they got the setup wrong focusing on sector 2 rather than ferrari and redbull who had setup for 1 & 3 + the crash ect. no doubt ferrari are finally showing their real pace but with the mixture of circuits coming up who can say really.

i would expect another strong show from ferrari if not a double podium

Hungary - Ferrari
Spa - Red Bull
Monza - Mclaren
Singapore - Ferrari
Suzuka - Red Bull

These cars have shown the same characteristics all the way through the season and they won't fundamentally change. Based on that they are the teams i think will have the upper hand at some upcoming races. Red Bull will be close to Ferrari though, and McLaren might be able to challenge RB at Spa cause of the straights - it's just the long quick corners that are going to make the difference.

I think the same.
Maybe with a little bit of give and take, regarding tire compounds...

I would agree with most, the exception being Spa which I would give to McLaren. There's also the case of who come in where after the first place car, and I think that's what will be key to both the WDC and the WCC this year since the competition is much tighter than last year.

This session was way more representative. Renault look good, they/Kubica could mix it with the top 3 teams a bit, or at least McLaren.

Red Bull are bloody quick in S2... figures. I think my pole/win prediction for Alonso goes out the window now.

Renault was actually stronger than Mclaren in monaco, and it seems they are stronger again for this one. But definitely, other than Germany, Monaco was the only GP Mclaren were noticeably off pace.

Vettel about 0.5 sec faster than Alonso/Webber... who are about 0.5 s faster than Massa. At least it seems Massa is competitive, so considering the compounds are softer i think he will have a very good weekend. Still, Vettel and Alonso are looking very fast... it remains to see which makes the mistake (or rather, if Vettel makes a big one) to lose pole position to Webber or Alonso.

Nothing looking good for McLaren right now.. All season long they were making the gap smaller and now it's huge again..let's hope for the best. right now my expect a race like Germany was

So Jessica is back with Jenson?

I think she's hot... 8-)

Is John Button trying to adopt Lewis as his second son now? :P

I predict Legard and Jake the snake to wet themselves one-off over their lovechild Vettel tomorrow and then have a long boring interview with Christian Horner.

Least Williams are still competitive, hope both cars get on the clean side of the track after the bad starts at Cockenheim.
