The results thus far reflect the uncertainty of the situation. Can McLaren break the trend and produce a good car for two years running? Will the FIA get in the way? Will BMW carry on their progress? And, will Ferrari finally do what they have saying for three seasons now and learn from previous mistakes?

Very tough to say at the moment, all the teams above have sizeable budgets, but one thing is certain - Honda will have the most improved car.

Unless they use a sail-boat, I would hope they'd be the best improved.

Having a calibrated wind-tunnel might help things for starters.

Ferrari...this year's car was the best of the 11, it just suffered of reliable problems, but when it didn't...it was a rocket! just like the 2005 mclaren...so i think the next year they will ahead again...

I think mclaren will have the best car, they always adapt well to new situations and I think with no traction control next year there superior mechanical grip will be there key to sucsess.

I agree here, the Ferrari was the best car of the year.

So you have ot give credit to Hamilton and errrr yes Alonso for pushing Kimi and Chimp so hard.

So true I am very happy with their progress, I would love to see them win a race in '08.

Yes the McLaren and the Ferrari were the equal and best cars I think and RedBull towards the end of the year were getting faster and faster. Alos Torro Rosso were getting quick to, I think the RedBull was the forth fastest car at the end of the year, they are looking good for next season.
