While I respect every driver on the grid, including 2 time champion Fernando Alonso. His true colors come out time in and time out...here's a question for Alonso fans

How can you root for a guy with the character of a 5 year old? Wait I take that back...a baby

Please give me some feedback I want to know your thoughts

eh?
What about what he said when Massa was fighting for the first position?

"This is ridiculous..." or something like that...

Ferrari got what they wanted, I think it detracts nothing from their performance today and their resurgence in the season, but Ferrari fans today were cheated (by Ferrari) of a potentially great battle.

I have to agree. The 1-2 would have been a great achievement. This leaves a sour taste. I can see why Ferrari did it, it about doubled the amount that Alonso caught up to Hamilton in the points table. But whatever the morons say, I feel that the whole thing will backfire on Ferrari. Otherwise, if this goes without significant penalty, then the floodgates for team orders will be open.

Even though this race made me dislike Alonso even more i don't think you can really blame him he actually did nothing wrong Massa was the 1 who followed the order and broke the rules and the team are to blame for ordering him to do that.

Yes Alonso is a whiny little child every single race and he seriously does not deserve this win but all he did was overtake when Massa let him i highly doubt he asked over the radio to force Massa to yield, but he did whine alot :p.

Also i am not saying Massa is to blame i think hes the victim here and by following the orders from ferrari he could have ruined his career if the FIA actually do punish them for it, which would be a massive shame for Massa as he deserved the win today and he deserves a hell of alot more than ferrari give him.

I do't have a huge problem with what Alonso did today. Sure, he moaned on the radio, but he's done it a few times, and others have done it too, but that doesn't mean Ferrari need to make the call they do. Once Massa slows, Alonso has to pass.

I dont think you trulli understand what has happened today.

Isn't it about time Bernie Eccleston took a firmer grasp on the cheats in this sport... whether company or individual. It is the public that lines their pockets... without us there would be no F1.

I am fed up with the winging cheating ungentlemanly conduct of Ferdinand Alonso.

Just recently....

(1) He winged about Schumacher and the safety car ruling.
(2) He winged about Hamilton purportedly overtaking the safety car in an effort to gain places and thus points. The fact was it was borderline for Lewis (he actually slowed) whereas it was not borderline and never would have been for Alonso.
(3) ...and in the race this weekend at Hockenheim Alonso obviously cried out "This is ridiculous" referring to him being so called blocked by Massa. Isn't that part of the excitement of the sport? Then Rob Smedley obviously gave an order... and then stated "please confirm"... (why should he confirm if Smedley was just advising?) intonation apart from anything else gave it away... as well as "magnanimous" and "sorry".... plus the attitude we all heard from Alonso just prior.

I felt sorry for Felipe and his body language told the story after.

The fine is not sufficient. OK keep the win in Alonso's name but also as part of the fine take away the points from Alonso to make the win even more hollow.

This race was fixed. If a boxing match was rigged it would be concluded as illegal and void. The losers are the integrity of the sport and not least us, the FANS.

Wow, where do I begin... what took place today is wrong on so many levels. I understand why Ferrari would give team orders to allow Alonso to pass both because he is ahead in points and was faster than Massa with Vettel catching up. Also, after watching the Red Bulls take each other out only a few races ago. They surely did not want to see a repeat of this in turn widening the gap between them and the front runners.

Either way, Alonso was surely getting nervous that a repeat of Canada would take place with SV getting closer and closer while Massa held him up. What surprised me is how Massa opened a quick gap to Alonso after Alonso had followed him so closely. I believe Alonso intentionally let off a bit in order to open a gap. Then he quickly closed the gap to prove just how "ridiculous" this is (in his opinion). Why would he go through so much trouble to prove anything? just pass him already (if you can). This I do not think he would have been able to do quite honestly. Alonso as of late has had some difficulty passing even with the car improving. Sure, he has had a few good drives this season but there is something missing. I can't quite put my finger on it yet. I do not see him pulling some of his trademark moves where he pressures an opponent into making a mistake and getting by. It's almost as if he is not as comfortable in a Ferrari as he was in a Renault or Mclaren.

Whatever the case may be Alonso will still have to prove himself even after winning (cheating) in today's race and that is the truth about Alonso.

Serio

Any driver whould have said "this is ridiculous" in that situation, being quicker than your teammate and being held up by him. It does not help the team to allow the competition to catch up. In certain circumstances I think team orders should be OK. Just not season wide, where there's a #2 driver who is essentially the personal test driver for the #1.

The truth is that this Thread is retarded, and TS is just another hater.
What happened today was Ferrari's decision, not Alonso's, so put the blame on the team leader. I guess everyone forgot about Schumi's era in the scuderia...
