Damn, I felt SO damn bad for him today.

Massa is such a true sportsman. Remember when he lost the championship to Lewis, basically thanks to Toyota's blunder? How he took it? Coming back from his horrific accident. And today this. Watching him in the press conference was sad.

My respect for him (which was pretty damn high) has multiplied immensely.

Aye, I don't think I'll be able to look him straight in the eye even on T.V knowing he was cheated. It was written all over his face and body language, this was unnecessary and at least too soon. If it was later in the season and Massa was still so far behind Alonso then it would've made more sense.

I really hope its just a one season thing, and he comes back consistently strong next season and Ferrari prioritise him.

It would be comical if it wasn't so sad how a 1,2 finish was tarnished. Massa took the high road and although in the end, the outcome may have been no different, we didn't get to *SEE* it.

Yeah, what a way for a team to treat one of their drivers coming back from a crash that a year ago nearly claimed his life. This wont do his confidence any good and it was obvious the poor guy was deflated once Alonso passed.

He's not done sacrificing yet. He'll have to say that he made the decision to let Alonso pass on his own accord, that's Ferrari's only way out of the team order fine and the WMSC investigation.

Nice guys never win if Alonso is around. :nono:

Fixed. :hehe:

I admire Alonso as a driver in terms of skill. He's arguably the most complete driver on the grid right now. But boy, is he always around controversy, huh?

And therein lies my problem, he didn't get to show that today, Ferrari made sure they got the result they wanted without any of the risk at the expense of the Ferrari fans watching a race.

That's great but I don't believe he is the most complete driver on the grid

If he was, he would have earned his victory the REAL way by actually competing with Massa. Instead he whined to his team and took the easy way out. If he was so much faster than Massa why didn't he pass him? I'm pretty sure Ferrari knows he would have never got by Felipe Massa. What a shame.
People forget Hamilton out drove and outclassed Alonso in his ROOKIE season

This isn't the first time Ferrari has done this...I don't even want to bring up the Schumacher days. I'm surprised Barrichello never told Ferrari to F off!

That's why I specified, skills-wise. Not in sportsmanship.

Wow, how cheated do i feel. I had £20 bet on to massa to win, who will pay this back to me after the race was fixed?
Fixing of a sport would NOT be tollerated in any other sport, how can Formula 1 get away with it? I am a huge fan of the sport but feel sorry for Massa and the fans like me who have lost out.
