I think if the FIA are going to introduce rules they should be consistent with the punishments! to prove my point I have two questions (with answers)
What has Stefano Domenicali done today? - fixed a race to allow a particular driver to win!
What happened to Flavio Briatore for fixing a race? - banned for life by FIA. (although overturned later & different circumstances).
Ferrari have a long history in this sport and have consitently been at or around the top - they should be setting examples of GOOD conduct for other smaller teams and also for young potential drivers of the future - lets face it if young drivers become disillusioned with the politics and corruption then F1 only has a short while to go!
I think Ferrari should be docked all constructors points from today, Alonso should be taught a lesson by having his winning points deducted and a warning issued that any further race fixing will result in ALL driver's and Constructors points being removed!
But this is Ferrari so they will probably get stroppy, threaten to leave F1 and get a hand delivered apology from Bernie Eccleston and the 100k fine back!!
