That isn't what I want to happen; very much the opposite of what I want, but I'm just preparing myself for the disappointment when McLaren's number two driver (Button) pulls ahead of their number one driver (Hamilton), not by skill but by luck.

I still don't know what everyone's problem is with Vettel. He is not arrogant (like Alonso), Vettel is just excited when he wins. As anyone naturally would be. I've actually adopted Vettel's pointing-finger celebration for my soccer celebrations. Actually any celebration. :P

LOL Would be funny if Vettel adopted soccer's celebrations...

But you're right, Vettel is not an arrogant guy. On the contrary, he generally sounds more like an excited kid who feels ucky to have gotten the cance to be where he's at (rather than souding as if somehow it was owed to him). Both RB guys are very straight forward and down to earth guys...

His P3 podium finish tomorrow will be nicely deserved :)

Ferrari fixing races again in such a blatant manner, dusgusting. Bet Alonso has thrown his toys out of the pram and told them to get Massa out of his way. Hope Ferrari and Alonso get penalised. Am sure such obvious team orders are against the rules!

Finally a great result from Ferrari!

Now of course, the controversy awauts. In any case, the result was good, Alonso would have challenged Massa, made some risky pointless moves, given the situation both are in the championship.... he almost got taken out by Vettel at the start, i couldnt believe how Vettel simply sent him to the wall.

Hopefully Massa is bak and can finally get some pts splitting between Red Bull and Mclaren.

Congratulations to Felipe Massa for a great race win

That's not the point is it? Point is we got robbed of racing - that's the problem. I'm not a team/driver lover/hater, I just really wanna see them all go at it. If this is the last race, and Alonso needs points to win, nobody would cry over it - even better, Massa would move out of the way himself.

If they raced today this was a toss-up, could be both drivers' race today. :/ :crying:

Its true Alonso was hampered at the start by Vettel nearly putting him into the wall. But to then go on and win the race from obvious team orders that contravene the rules is not good for the sport, Alonso or Ferrari

There's always team orders. Specially given the case that Massa is REALLY out of championship contention. There's team orders in Mclaren, Red Bull and all over the grid. Whether you want to open your eyes and see them, thats another thing.

ABSOLUTELY NO POINT IN ALLOWING ALONSO TO RACE MASSA, he could have challenged. Look at the pit lane pass....
Had some crash happened, Ferrari management would need a serious check/smack in the head.

Massa should have won. That is all I'm saying about this as an Alonso fan. Let's hope this doesn't happen again.

Not really. More like... Alonso should have challenged.

All being said. The race was dull. I dont like this track at all.

It would have resulted in a collision. Could you imagine the mayhem at Maranello had that happened.

Team orders perhaps so, but done in a more subtle and less obvious manner than Ferrari managed today. Telling drivers to slow down and save fuel and hold position is a bit different to telling the guy in front to let his teammate overtake. Its the Schamcher/Barrichello moment all over again. Whats even more galling is that when Ferrari employees are asked about it all, they resort to blatant lies to cover up what they did.

I'll discuss the Ferrari stuff in the other thread (I mean the team orders specifically).

Not really a thriller, but Ferrari proved they can challenge race wins now, championship remains to be seen.

Good start from both, Vettel was a fool trying to put Alonso into the wall and Massa just surged through and Alonso got Vettel anyway. All went wrong for Force India, I really hope they can bounce back.

Kubica is still doing well and over-preforming his car,

Mercedes are just stuck,

Willaims diddn't have a good race though,
