I am happy that the Ferraris separate us from the McLarens, they will do us a BIG Favour.

I still don't know what everyone's problem is with Vettel. He is not arrogant (like Alonso), Vettel is just excited when he wins. As anyone naturally would be. I've actually adopted Vettel's pointing-finger celebration for my soccer celebrations. Actually any celebration. :P

I think Alonso will win tomorrow, however I really would like Seb to capitalize on his pole position. Hopefully he doesn't have the same start as he had at Silverstone.

Disappointing for Webber to be in 4th. Definitely I would hope that Webber is reasonable and tries to help Vettel win. The 2 McLarens could be taken off the top 2 spots should Mark play his cards right. (However, I have the gut feeling that he will not last race distance tomorrow.)

Elsewhere, I'm disappointed to see Kobi qualify in 12th, but it was such a scrap between the German trio of Schumacher, Rosberg and Hulkenberg, that I guess Kumi should be happy.

I'm so glad Vettel has the bulldog Alonso starting in his rearview this weekend...now he's really going to have to show what he is made of. I'm usually a McLaren guy (I liked Schumacher when I was young all b/c of my remote control car...but I still always rooted for Haikkonen and McLaren especially when they had Juan Pablo Montoya!) but this weekend I am pulling for Ferrari. I want them to shake things up and make it an exciting second half of the season! I am so happy for Felipe Massa as well he's doing so great considering he almost took a trip to the man upstairs last year in Hungary.

Vettel is in for a tough one, with Alonso right beside him. Fernando is a tough dog, I have the feeling that if Vettel botches the start ever so slightly, Alonso will be all over him, or better said, ahead of him.

I expect Lewis to be the usual opportunist. :hehe: Gawd, I love that kid. Also, I'm quite happy to see Massa on top! I like him a lot.

Bring it on, Hockenheim!

Halleluyah!

Boy was it close. Still cant help to get by the feeling that mr 2 times was up for pole. But, Vettel had a f'ed up lap. Wonder boy was simply superb.
Great form by Massa. He certainly had issues that didnt allow him to compete; but it seems him and Ferrari have worked hard to solve around it. Obviously Mclaren are still having trouble with their diffuser... hoepfully it takes them a couple of races to get sorted and we'll have a photo-finish championship.

Alonso on pole... that would have been out of this world. one better on the race?

Unfortunately, he's starting next to Button who has the inside line and good luck while Hamilton is on the outside and is fairly unlucky. On the plus side, Hamilton may be open to escape a potential collision, but on the down side he's also ripe for getting run off the road and dropping back several positions while Button squeaks through on the inside. I predict Button to safely cruise into fourth while Hamilton gets squeezed out and falls back to eighth.

That isn't what I want to happen; very much the opposite of what I want, but I'm just preparing myself for the disappointment when McLaren's number two driver (Button) pulls ahead of their number one driver (Hamilton), not by skill but by luck.

Haikkonen? Kimi or Mika or both? :P
