Alonso/Ferrari dropped a bollok, thought they'd be clever and ignore Charlie and his team, not so bloody clever now are they

Nope. They are not, if that is the entire truth to the story. And I take almost as much joy from watching Ferrari shoot themselves in the foot as I have the last few years watching McLaren repeatedly do so (over and over and over again). I have no love for Ferrari and even less for McLaren. Both are poorly run groups of whining babies which causes their fans to act equally.

I'm soooo wishing for Hammy and Alonso head to head on the track.

Did you miss the Canadian race? Lewis overtook Alonso like a grownup taking candy from a toddler....it was pretty sweet race that one. :whip:

Alonso and Lewis on a wet track head-to-head. that's where the drivers' skills come to play, and the car has less importance.

We had this in Australia though they didn't have the opportunity to race each other, Lewis was overtaking people left and right while Alonso was waiting for "pitstops" the whole race. Would have loved a head-to-head between them though. :drink:

Did you watch Australia with your eyes closed?

You also missed the part where Lewis kinda struggled to overtake Alonso despite Lewis having fresher tyres, although that was back when the Ferrari was faster then the McLaren.

I'm sorry, but I watched the race where Lewis was tagged by Mark Webber as SOON as they both caught up to Alonso and Lewis was making his move on ALonso. You might have watched a different race in your dream which caused for permanent 'inception' in your subconscious...if you've watched this movie. I mean, jeez!! You call this an argument? :thumbdown:

So did jenson. And many say he can't overtake for his life :rolleyes:

so which is it? it's a fantastic move if Lewis does it, its not so much when Jenson does it?
its 'Alonso is making lots of mistakes, look how he crashed in Monaco, made contact on the first lap in such or such GP'... and 'practice means very little, he's just pushing to the limit' and 'it was great to hear vettel crying puncture puncture'...

:rolleyes::yawn::banghead::irked::bs:

Not true at all. Wet track is where car setup is most important. If the team set up for rain....the drivers job gets far easier. If they gambled on a dry setup...just the opposite.

How did Lewis have enough time for his frustration to bulid at being unable to pass Alonso to the point where he said: "why did you pit me in" if it happened as SOON as you claimed.

I watched it in the bbc, and can also recall Brundel commenting about the dirty air affect again.

:yes:
Doesnt matter that much, because with a simple set up issue or certain car's characteristics, it could be either tragedy or great. Look at Massa in Silverstone some yrs ago... he couldn't be THAT bad really.........

But Lewis is very good in wet tracks. Maybe slightly better than the rest? don't know for sure.
