Alonso needs to grow up or get the **** out of the sport, stop acting like a spoiled little brat and stop being a little *****

Likewise you should grow up and quit with the bloody fanboy/hater posts or get the **** off this forum

This thread is begging for someone to spend an afternoon going poll crazy.

That sort of effort is usually saved for the end of the season. :P EwanM is the traditional poll man anyway.

Which drivers have impressed you so far?

Button - for being on the same pace as Lewis and his super-smooth drives
Webber - Silverstone especially when he overcame the demons known as Seb-as-tian-Fet-tel, Horner the slimeball and Marko the dipstick
Barrichello - for turning Williams' car around in the last 2 races
Kobayashi - Also for his performance in the last 2 races
Glock - For calling his car "Fat Veronica" just to wind Vettel up

least impressed with..

Schumacher - what's up with him?
Vettel - The kid who we all saw as a refreshing change in 2008 and last season has become a spoilt whiny little git
Massa - Absolutely nowhere this year, Rob Smedley is going to have to borrow Alan Permane's cattle prod
Alonso - making lots of very sloppy mistakes that even Sakon Yamamoto wouldn't be making and getting a very bad case of the red mist
Nico Rosberg - still nothing special, only goest fastest in practice and bottles it when it counts ie. China when he was LEADING.

Which teams have overperformed... and underperformed?

Overperformed - Renault, they've built a cushty little car that has masses of drive-ability and well balanced.

A lot of people have put Williams as over-performing but I don't think that's the case, until the last 2 races they have underperformed due to the car being slow out of the box thanks to Barbie and Crashajima's incompetence at feedback and development really hurting the design of the FW32 until Barrichello could get on the scene. The car has never had a fundamental problem like the FW30 from 2008 did, it has been several "small problems" which now are one by one being eliminated.

Underperformed - Ferrari, they looked very very very very strong at the start of the season and during testing, now they have just slipped back and have to rely on Alonso's skill to get anywhere near the front.

What's been your favourite race?

Melbourne - after the shocking horror that was boring-Bahrain, this was an awesome, action packed race. Plus it was hilarious seeing Lewis have his own "the team, they made me lose the race" moment (with Barrichello walking through the shot at the same time).

Silverstone - Ok I'm probably being a bit biased seeing this race saw the first double points finish for Williams, but it was a dry race and the new layout has provided some good action, especially in the closeing laps when I so badly wanted Hulkenberg to overtake Schumacher.

Who do you think will go on to take the titles?

Drivers title: Webber (much to the disgust of Horner the slimeball)
Constructors: McLaren

I think he went to Ferrari hoping that it would give him a championship but they have produced a bit of a dog by their standards and he can not cope with it. I would imagine that being a signing for Ferrari is what kept him going last year.

Ferrari will produce a competitive car, they're close now... if he had any damned maturity he'd know that it's a matter of time as long as he stays with Ferrari before they give him a dominant car and he can get to flirt with another WDC.

Which drivers have impressed you so far?
Lewis and Mark. Lewis for being ultra solid, and Mark for causing Redbull some serious problems and giving Horner one hell of a headache. Not to mention making baby boy's pampers wet at nearly every qualifying session.

Which teams have overperformed... and underperformed?
Overperformed, McLaren by far. Underperformed is Ferrari, but that's mostly because of Mr2times and his mental conundrums.

What's been your favourite race?
Silverstone was great as a dry race. But the 3 back to back wet races after the BOREFEST (Bahrain) were amazing as well!

Who do you think will go on to take the titles?
Lewis. Mark could go for it though...his teammate, Baby will have to wait another year or two. He's not mature enough this year.

He has perfected one thing this year, and that is waving at other drivers from the car

Which drivers have impressed you so far?
Kubica for consistantly driving well, gives Renault hope of a new era.
Hamilton for a relatively uncontroversial year (so far!), he might actually maturing some what.
Sutil driving well and picking up decent point for Force India.

Unimpressed with; Petrov, Liuzzi, Schumacher all off the pace compared with their team mates.

Which teams have overperformed... and underperformed?
Overperformed: Renault and Force India
Underperformed: Ferrari and Mercedes, do i need to say anymore?

What's been your favorite race?
Canada; 3 stop strategy (a change for once)
(Turkey was pretty good just for seeing Red Bull fall flat on their faces and handing it to Mclaren!)

Who do you think will go on to take the titles?
Constructors: to tight perhaps McLaren
Drivers: Webber

Which drivers have impressed you so far?

(1) Kubica driven the wheels off his car taking it right to the limit in qualifying and race.
(2) Lewis (AKA. Captain Invincible) Driving with a new sense of maturity without any loss in speed some of the overtakes have been spectacular.
(3) Button proving his critics wrong has shown that he's an equal to Lewis and even outperformed him on several occasions. By far the best driver pairing on the grid.

Which teams have overperformed... and underperformed?

Renault have come back to the front in great style with a rebuilt team doing far better than anyone expected Ferrrari, McLaren, Red Bull and Mercedes should all be concerned.
Ferrari have done poorly not developing their car at the pace required to mount a real championship challenge.
Red Bull have a lightning fast car and have wasted all of their advantage.

What's been your favourite race?

Australia (Melbourne)

Who do you think will go on to take the titles?

WDC: McLaren driver
WCC: McLaren

Only Kubica and Rosberg have done clearly more than what was expected of them, taking their car to a much higher performance level. I'm really supporting Kobayashi but he's come alive in the last couple of races, not enough to put him on the same level.

In thinking about this again, I'd give the over performing award to Rosberg for doing what he's been doing, very consistent in an under performing car while wrestling with the Schumacher monkey thrown on his back in the beginning of the season. (I didn't call Schumacher a monkey :) ) He's maintained his professionalism and not a single complaint about the team or the car or his team mate.

maybe some over-wishful bits... but good enough, not bad for a Mc-brigadier ;)

Which drivers have impressed you so far?

Kubica - Obviously, taking the Renault to the fight, very good results and trouncing Petrov (even though he's a rookie)
Rosberg - I'm surprised at how well he managed to cope with the pressure of being Schumacher's teammate, and he went on still getting results even after the team changed the car to be more suitable to Schumacher's style (and therefore less to his own).
Schumacher - I'm impressed at how bad he's done :hehe:

Which teams have overperformed... and underperformed?
Renault - what a giant jump from last year's miserable show. After all the drama about they selling the team to Genii, and Alonso leaving, they did a really good job.
Williams - I expected them to be "best of the rest", but they didn't met anyone's standards until the last few races.
Mercedes - Duh, WDC and WCC.

What's been your favourite race?

Hmm. Canada was brilliant, followed by Melbourne/Sepang/Shanghai which were good too (rain always helps), and Silverstone last week.

Who do you think will go on to take the titles?

Too difficult to tell, but I think one of Red Bull's drivers (whoever gets the upper hand) will get the WDC, and McLaren the WCC.

Their car is getting up to speed, they just wasted a LOT of effort on f-duct which made them hit a brick wall while others increased their development.

That made me laugh Jabberwocky and racechick :P
